And if you are wondering about my lawn man: I got to my dog, threw the chain around his neck, as the lawn man was able to get away. I never walked my dog around the neighborhood. Why? Because I really couldn’t control him.

Certain breeds are more powerful or protective and that makes them more "dangerous" but just being that breed does not mean it is automatically a killer. I have known many dogs that are "dangerous" breeds and have even owned one. Some of them being the gentlest dogs in the world. But then you meet a breed deemed "safe" but if it was raised wrong it can be much more dangerous. I am not trying to start an argument =) It would just be a dis-service to not comment back. I will say, my dad and brother had pit bulls and they were the sweetest most gentle dogs and very intelligent. I think part of a dog's behavior is in how they were raised. I also know dogs are animals and unpredictable. Our pits never showed any aggression unless a stranger approached.

I read somewhere (& I don’t know if this is the case for judge judy) that a lot of these shows get these cases because the defendant doesn’t have to pay. The show will pay. The indignation comes from losing on a national stage. At least that’s how it was with Judge Rinder in the Uk & I think they took their set up from the USA versions as ours was decades later in coming to be.
