A morning run through the bush, the girls are in the front seat keeping a close eye on the pack. Kyla the German Shepherd puppy is taking many a leaf out of Abra and Tilly's books. Whilst they're good, strong more senior pack members to follow, Tilly and Abra also have their undesirable behaviours that Kyla is picking up on or at least encouraging her own innate GSD desire to do so. Nipping into line and barking orders is top of the list. At just 5 or 6 months old she already has her sights set on a top position AND having her name called out by Luke quite a bit. Never as much as 'Abra' of course.
Abra joined Tilly, Cutie Pie and Lily at the beach for some training and to experience the beach for the first time. Lily wasn't happy she joined us, Abra is just a little too intense. But the beautiful Lily didn't let it ruin her favourite place to be ... the beach! She loves it.
A beautiful afternoon walk through the bushland and a play in the big paddock with the dogs and dingoes. Lots of fun playing and wrestling together.
And then some fun trying out some of our new tug toys and ropes. I think you might agree, Cutie Pie was the clear winner of the day. That tiny little Pug has so much gumption in amongst all these big dogs. We think she's very special.

What a perfect day at the beach, especially with the tide out. It’s funny how children playing in the water don’t feel the cold even though it’s winter. I just loved watching lilies reaction once she hit the beach. She was really having a great day and her dancing was a treat to watch. Abra is doing so well following Luke’s commands she’s coming along nicely. It’s interesting watching Cruiser and Tina’s reactions with Freddo and Roscoe whom they are wary of. I am so impressed with Lily. She is never taking a hike on the motor bike. Hope she is doing allright with all the running. She is so happy at the beach…aww. And cutie pie is so energetic as usual 🥰 wish my frenchie had half of her energy. Abra seems to be enjoying the beach too, and Tilly enjoys her time laying in the sand. The kids playimg together, laughing and having fun is so cute. Poor Sam has to hold the camera. Isnt there a camera or equipment so you can have both hands free and just enjoy the bech time too? Next time, ask someone to join you who can be in charge of the camera so that you can enjoy beach time with the family. 😊 Luke is everywhere as usual..playing with the dogs and kids. What a guy! Its a very good idea and lovely to take the dogs with health problems for a weekly trip to the beach with the family. They deserve it 🥰

Her bloodline is PPD attack dogs. Not family dogs, not dogs you have with other dogs, not dogs you take out to the beach. These specific dogs are usually crated for most of the day and used only in threatening situations. The local gun shop here in town have two identical Abras under the counter. And likely related given the area and rare breeding purpose. Whilst yes she is next level intense, like those mimicking bite and head shakes in front of the dogs 🙈 … but her adaptation to this environment is nothing short of impressive. Biting toys and blankets instead, diligently following Luke’s rules, being Wolf’s personal bodyguard … I feel like of all the dogs, she’s battling natural instincts daily. She’s a lot of work but we couldn’t ask for more than what she invests trying to do the right thing every day. But you are right, the volatile intensity is unbelievable. We’ve seen what she looks like when she thinks there is a real threat and her body with those teeth and jaws are as fast as lightning. It’s no wonder they breed them specifically for that kind of work, people wouldn’t know what hit them. They’re just too fast from 0-100.

Yes they are both the same hybrid Mali/Dutch all black, qualified PPD. But male. It’s unusual. Breeders and trainers of these dogs are really not at all common. Especially around here.

How lucky you have a lovely beach to yourselves. The beach so clean and water and sky so blue . I live near the sea but our sea and beach is crowded in the summer months and dogs not allowed

I love how Sam and Luke never change the dog’s names. When I adopted my dog, I was bad and changed the name from “Saturn” to “Bailey.” But whomever named him Saturn does not love him as much as I do! ❤❤

I have 3 cats - my newest, Bodhi, is almost 10 months old. He is in his toddler stage and into everything, pushing everything off the edge, all the typical stuff. I busted out laughing the other day when I realized I was saying ‘Bodhi, Bodhi, Bodhi, over and over all day long. Made me think of Abra, Abra, Abra. I couldn’t live without any of them. ❤️🐾❤️🐾

It was a little hard for Kyla to avoid Crispy, when she was doing her all-out-best to engage her in play. Enjoyed the rope toy games. Cutie Pie does get right in the middle. Nice your cabana areas have turned-out so well.

What a wonderful video. Lovely to see Banjo playing with Tina (and Rover) whilst refereeing the play 😉. Loved seeing the dingos defer to Freddo . Lily was so adorable at the beach. As were the kids ❤ I’m amazed to see Cruiser willing to run full out chasing Luke. To know he’s feeling so safe and secure to expend that kind of energy on “fun” and not a life and death chase much feel so special to you and Luke ❤. Thanks for such a lovely, peaceful video.
