Elmo is set to become an official Epilepsy Detection Dog. These therapy dogs have a very special role in saving lives and keeping their owners safe.

When I was seventeen, I had gotten a small case of a flu and our dog lied right by the couch on the floor and watched over me. He never let anyone get near me, because he could tell I wasn't well and that I was weak and vulnerable to anything, so he made sure that no one messed with me. He never bit or snapped at anyone, he just gave people a soft warning growl. It wasn't a "I'm going to hurt you" growl. it was a "she is sick so I'm watching you"growl. With all the love and training we gave him, he became super protective over us.
