Amy, what do you do if you have one who is doing great overall on the table until I lift the back foot for trimming hair. Every time he sinks down onto his hocks

fphilbeck try placing a card board box 📦 under the dog’s belly on the table so there is no room to sink. Honestly if you repeat these steps often enough without trying to groom, their confidence will build. Then just touch the feet a lot. Then progress to lifting the foot. The progress further for trimming. Hope that helps.

Puppies of all breeds we recommend some light training to start at around 4 months.
