I agree. When my Husky is with me, people are much more eager to talk than they normally would be. Most people love Huskies and can’t resist wanting to pet them and ask about them. It’s almost like they have never or hardly see a Husky.

I love animals, but I don't like them in stores, sitting in the shopping carts, jumping up and putting their front paws on my pants ( yes, a LOT of pet owners let their dogs do that) and I really don't like them in restaurants. L.A. DOES have restaurant patios that allow dogs, and that's fine.

If you ever decide to take a trip to the USA, there are many places here where you’ll see wild dolphins. My favorite is Cape Cod in Massachusetts. We went whale watching there. It took awhile to find some whales, but we finally got to see a humpback whale and it’s calf. It was beautiful. Then as we were heading back, we were suddenly surrounded by dozens of dolphins. They were amazing. I’d love to go back someday!

Here In America, my dog is one of the few dogs that has the privilege of going into public buildings because she is a service dog. But if all dogs acted like Sherpa, I would be for every dog having public access.

Irish Colleen in MN the U.K. is generally more dog friendly dogs are sometimes allowed in cafes as long as food is prepared behind 2 closed doors from where the dogs are.

Thank you so much Sherpa & Jamie. I haven't been to Clovelly for well over 20-25 years. Went quite a few times during my youth and younger days. It's a beautiful unique place. Always loved their ice cream and cream teas, plus the donkeys/mules to assist people up & down the steep cobble streets. Though I also recall a Landrover service, taking folk too. But most of the time we just enjoyed the walk both up & down so that we could explore & enjoy the scenery. A great place Now I want to go back !!
