Jasmine is a 6 year old Havanese, trained with clicker training. (Positive reinforcement.) She currently knows almost 100 different tricks/ behaviors. She LOVES learning and practicing her tricks- because that's how she earns good treats! She is a total sweetheart, and I'm lucky to have her in my life. :)

We have a havenese. Smart smart and very loving Dogs! We are in the process of making her a service dog and doing pet therapy at children's hospital and physical rehabilitation centers. Awesome dogs! Love my Bella!

Jasmine is always so cute and smart! I love the say "hello" trick and the "dance" trick in the ballerina dress. They are the cutest trick ever! :)

Jasmine is just one super dog! Just absolutely loved the sneeze and hello, those tricks aren’t something a dog is going to learn overnight! Jasmine is one sensational pup! She does indeed have a style that goes along with it, she performs her tricks with quite of an adorableness factor! :)

You might want to check out some old videos of The Taz. Her Channel is The Tazbeest. She can balance on a barrel and ride a skateboard. She is working on balancing on a ball and learning to stand on her front feet. We only work on these a few minutes at a time. I don't want her to hurt herself. You have done an awesome job with Jasmine.

I trained my first Havanese to be my service dog. He could pick dimes up from a tile floor. It was fun to watch him work my shoe laces until he found the plastic end. He figured out for himself that pulling anything else wouldn’t work. I recently adopted a 3 year old Coton de Tulear. Jessie is blind but she’s smart as a whip and LOVES to learn. I am thinking of training her to be my service dog. I can live without one, but it’s SO much easier with one. And I find I get out more.

I took an obedience class with Jasmine through our local pet supply store. Then later, I researched "Clicker Training"- and there are lots of good tutorial videos on KZbin.

Not at all! Clicker Training/ Positive Reinforcement works at any age. You'll just have to be patient.

They just progressed over years. The simpler tricks when she was younger. The harder tricks when she was older... She knew most of them by the time she was 4 years old.

I taught all Jasmine's tricks using positive reinforcement (clicker training.) So try getting a little piece of cheese or meat in your hand to help encourage them to come.
