Like our ancestors also ate. We too were predominantly meat eaters, but probably more scavenger than hunter at the start. Meat is what is attributed to our large brain size. Dogs too will eat some plants and fruit too, but both humans and dogs do best on meat.

Cooked bones (including commercial ones) are bad for dogs, cause they splinter and can tear a dog's insides up and cause extreme pain. My golden retriever and my multise shizu would literally really love this! I am a huge animal lover. Also him not picking it up with his paws is a bit like my smaller dog. She like him tries to pull the meat of it without getting the idea to use paws. This is so adorable.
