This is one of the reasons they make poor guard dogs - it's that natural friendly disposition that won't deter strangers. You can do something as simple as putting a milk crate over your head and a lot of the bigger, more prone to agression breeda will go at you hard. Been there, done that. And when I say excited, I mean in the clinical sense as in the dog is the opposite of calm. However, a dog can be very happy and be excited and a dog can also be very fearful and still be excited because of course you're not going to be afraid for your life and calm at the same time. Maybe you're the one who should look up what is factual!! If you'd like to check my sources on this, you need to look no further than a few of the world's most renowned behaviorists such as Michael Ellis, Ian Dunbar, Zach George, etc.

Sahil Pethe I cant really speak for what the dog smells lol and no dogs are way smarter esp depending on the breed. Cats are more cautious and smart about surviving outside. Dogs work with police and detect drugs and weapons and aid humans in so many ways

One thing that's being overlooked also is a lot of dogs will wait for it's owner I:e the person holding the camera to make the first move... if you pull back, so will they, if you go in for the kill likewise. In summary if anything makes a move on my mongrel I'm first in... if you back off or pick your dog up, game over. thats why I'm not into confusing my dog it'll come back to bite you on the arse. In saying that I'm glad these people own a Golden Retriever and not some Pitbull cross mongrel

The smell receptors in a human nose would cover a postage stamp. In a dog they would cover a football pitch or so I understand so as you say the last twenty wearers which must confuse them.They can smell the coronavirus which may be useful.
