This is such an important thing to remember--dogs see cancer in a totally different way than we do. The more we focus on quality of life for them, the closer those two perspectives come together. This video is so well told and beautifully composed. I hope every dog lover who is dealing with cancer gets to watch this.

That's exactly what I do with my dog. Every day is about my tia. I suffer with my health but one thing I have never done is let her see or feel how I feel. We need to treat them no different as they cotton on to that. Treat them same but put a little more excitement to their day, and make sure you have lots of snuggles on sofa. Dogs cats etc all feed of our emotions. So I've learnt to be clever and never show fear or sadness. My dog acts exactly same and I'm doing everything to get rid of this cancer. If she doesn't stay here, Then I tried. But till the end I would kept my dog happy . It's life we all die. I have faith and I know jesus will keep all our loved ones till we go home Amen. I hope my dog lives a long time. And I pray 🙏 all people going thr this keep strong ,keep smiling as your dogs, cats etc will love you more for it. Remember we have all done our best.

my girl is a 14 year old stumpy tail blue heeler, she isnt spayed, and has always been healthy, im broken but staying strong for her, she has breast cancer and she had surgery 3 weeks ago, most of her tissie in that area was removed, i have changed her diet, and going to adelaide in australia research dog hospital as she has been accepted as a candidate, and her appointment is tomorrow with proffesser anne peasley i have been building up her walks since her surgery, im keeping her routine same, as she has always comes first, shes doing well and is a trooper, her incision is about 25cm long, so im so grateful for proffessor anne peasly helping my fur baby to give my girl a chance, im not sure if it has spread to her organs or not, or if surgery removed it all, she needs a ct scan, but i cant afford one, and proffesspr anne peasley may do one, not sure bit will find out tomorrow, hope to god all goes well for my beaitiful girl,
