Surprised no one told dogdog that the 2nd place Ellum got was in spite of them having a huge disadvantage. Rae was playing on mobile from Miyoung's setup while Miyoung was swapping between discord calls of the teams. Rae and Ellum could only communicate whenever Miyoung was in their call while all of the other teams could talk the whole time. It was very entertaining that way though.

I don't know if you're hating this video in particular, but if you just generally hate dog being dog, there are plenty of other streamers...

Since the first reply isn't very helpful. Battlegrounds has its own carpool that's completely separate from ranked (there are cards that show up in both) You get a random selection of cards from the tavern, the skill in the game is picking the ones that give you the best chance at winning. Good rule of thumb is to not get attached to your early board, as higher tier minions are what ultimately wins games. You want to level the tavern as quickly as possible without dying in the early game, then transition to stronger strategies later. Pirates and elementals will be very difficult to win with when you're first starting out. Don't play them until you understand how they work.
