You want leroy untaunted in this comp because you want the automatons to be attacked and leroy to take a turn attacking, gives more time for automatons to be cleared out and have space to resummon them. You don't need more taunted units because if all your taunts are dead you don't need to protect kangors anyway.

No, you are wrong. He does something: namely, takes up space, so fewer automatons spawn. The board becomes weaker and they scale slower. You can tell, dog is not big fan of automatons and not used playing them

The only reason baron did nothing is because his opponents were so much weaker comparatively. If any of them had actually been able to kill his units baron would've been good. Losing like 4/4 of stats on your scaling is worth potentially summoning 4 extra automatons if the fight is actually close

That was only because the opponents were weak. He played for the stronger opponent who would clear all the automata. For them, he'd need more to spawn. But there were none.

Your math is significantly off because you want to be right, but aren't. With Baron, one of 3 situations happens: 1: The automatons aren't dieing and the board is left full. You weren't getting an extra automaton here anyways because none died except the hero powered one. This is fine because you are winning anyways. 2: The Baron gets sniped and dies. In this case it's not taking up space and the same automatons are summoned anyways. 3: The automatons die and the baron isn't sniped, at which point the Khangors get absolutely obscene value and summon 2 extra instead. 4/2 scaling on your board into the late game isn't what you think it is. At this point it's more about getting the summons you can for the matchups it matters, but this lobby was mostly just stats on stats. Feel free to read the room and learn to play.

@@superbaas8822 actually, you are the one who is significantly wrong. You missed the 4th case, which actually what was going on this game most frequently. 4: Automatons die, but get reborn, so there is no extra space. So kangor summons only one automaton instead of 2. And you actually get less summons, with less stats, that is it. for baron to get ANY value whatsoever there must be THREE open slots, which is almost not possible with his setup, unless opponent plays big demons or elems.
