9:41 Defender's Rites would have been a good buy here to give the new poet +8/8. That would've made it 10/11. On turn 11 (after two turns), it would've already reached 40/44 just from doubling. Instead, dog had to spend a ton of resources to buff it to 36/30.

Golden Tarec/Poet don’t work because the trinket doesn’t add stats, it sets your stats to specific value

Wrong. Training certificate (double the stats of your two lowest-attack minions) doesnt set stats, it doubles the stats by adding stats. Golden Tarec/Poet WILL double the buff so you gain triple stats instead. Only the greater trinkets Emerald Dreamcatcher (Set your dragons attack to the highest in the warband) and Bronze Timepiece (Set your minions attack and health to the higher of the two) operate how you described and are unaffected by golden tarec/poet.

@@YoloMid Go do it in game, it doesnt work. The trinket is worded wrong sadly, but goldening doesnt double the stat bonus for whatever reason, I tried it 3x already :(

I tried this with two terragosas. I was scaling bloodgems on the side (around 6/8). I noticed around 320 stats, that whenever I played bloodgems the stats weren't changing. I assume it's because it was adding to the original stats, not the double stats saved from combat

Yulon would eat the buff from trinket, that's why. He needs to double the big minions stats, but trinket only doubles lowest stat minions. With Yulon on board, he would have 3 minions
