Very fun vid today! and the 'realism' factor made it very entertaining! Just firepower was lacking, especially considering that landing a successful burst is supposed (and is) to be hard. Actual planes usually carried enough firepower to cripple an opponent in 1 good burst just for that reason! (2 blasters ain't gonna cut it, with that abusmal fire rate of them…) Next time you guys do this (no hud, aim assist off, first person cam, no gyros) you should move the realism factor up a notch! More specifically, you need to look at a specific era of planes (like late WW2) and come up with a ruleset (what weapons, what+how many engines, block limits) that will end up with you building aircraft with similar speeds, weaponry and size. Since the firepower you guys used in this vid is more reminiscent of WW1 planes (speed was high, but still too low for any other setting), i suggest next time you go with a WW2 setting for general plane characteristics (u can probably do Korean era early jets too, but i predict a ton of crashes with planes that are just engines with wings going at ~550mph.). Suggested ruleset for a WW2 setting: Based on how much firepower WW2 planes carried, use ~8 blasters with staggered fire (or ~2 miniguns with aim-assist turned OFF) to get similar levels of firepower in trailmakers. The aim should be: 1 good pass with multiple hits = critical damage, so avoid suicidal head-ons plz! For speed, either aim for a top speed of ~330mph, or find what it takes to propel a small & aerodynamically decent plane up to ~330mph, add 1 more thruster to that and set it as the de-facto power plant of your aircraft. And for durability/bulkiness, well, they are bigger that the planes you built here, but stilll nowhere near the complexity limit, so a block limit of 150~220 will suffice. (and get more people to dogfight with, so you can do 2v2's and have to worry about extra stuff like not letting the secont enemy plane blast you to pieces, and friendly fire (both accidental, and from misidentification!)) Let's see what crazy and/or wonky designs you guys come up with!

Yes and no, it would set a certain range you have to shoot at, but would double damage output at that point, which means if you are accurate, yeah it would be better, but I'd stay with the regular setup

Idea for your next video you should build your best. And fastest plane and the one who lost the 1st match gets to remove 2 parts. From your plane but not the guns and the winner gets 2 minutes to make sure it works just in case they removed to much of his wings he can move parts around like wing part to make a full wing . . you can have 3 guns and those can't be removed hope to see this

what if you did planes vs blimp, like WWI style. after all the only thing that discontinued blimp usage in WWI was the introduction of incindiary rounds, which i dont think people who make trails have. of course i mean like here first person with no aim assist. would still be a bit new considering that all airbattles besides this one so far used third person with aim assist

I would love to be able to build an aircraft then actually fly it with my HOTAS setup, but every time I have it plugged in while the game is running it stop my mouse/keyboard from working and is unresponsive. If there is somewhere that I could ask Flashbulb about it I would appreciate being directed there
