Doggy Bus Morning Pick Ups

Everyone was excited to board the bus and head up to the farm today, including the driver … Uncle Luke! They know there’s lots of fun that awaits them at their destination. Zac wanted to do-pilot with Uncle Luke today, he got a pat every time Uncle Luke passed. Zac nuzzled in on all of the pats, he knew this was exactly the reason he wanted to sit there.

Listening to one of the letters that came with a gift...about Luke and Sam taking a leap of faith into the Sanctuary and Rehabilitation ❤...it made me think that when they leapt, hundreds and thousands of people determined to do what they could to keep them aloft. 💜

I know my small contribution might feed a dog for a day (if it’s not too big!) but I feel I know this cast of characters by now and for the enjoyment they being me? There isn’t a price tag. When they do the photo scans of that beautiful piece of land, I’m thinking “how do they maintain it and what are the property taxes?” Guess I’m kind of a bottom line person.....

What a great co-pilot/greeter. It makes me giggle every time I see Annabelle at the bus stop with her owner she’s calm, controlled and poised. But then she gets to the farm and it’s an explosion of joy and adventure, it’s like she’s had a personality transplant on the journey. 🐾❤️🐾

How I love watching Uncle Luke greet the doggies during the pickups! I agree with other commentators, he might even be more excited than his charges. So funny to see no-nonsense dogs scamper up the ramp without even saying hello. There’s business to be done, Luke! We have to get to the farm! What a great way to start the day. ❤️❤️🐕🐕

Don’t you know they recognize each and every smell as they pass the cages, and know who’s in it. I’ve noticed that they immediately calm down and politely wait until they get the scent of the Farm’s valley? Then it’s “Let me out of this bus, I’m ready to play”. 😀

This is so much fun to watch! The dogs are so thrilled that some don't even want to waste the time saying Hello to Uncle Luke!! Just get on the bus and let's "GO TO THE FARM"!! We will get our cuddles there! Zac is the perfect gentleman, greeting each dog as they enter the bus and run by!! He clearly loves the cuddles and pats from his bestie, Uncle Luke. It's wonderful to hear that some of the pawrents donate, what was their fee, to the The Farm rescue cause. It's a great show of support for what they are doing now. It's greatly appreciated by Luke and Sam, and by so many fans who would like to THANK THEM for their generosity. And Luke, what kind of day would it be without a nice surprise poop to start??
