By the by, there's a joke in the next View Askewniverse movie, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, where Jay is talking to one of Ben Affleck's characters, and he says the line, "Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms." I don't know how easy or hard it is to find, but if you want a good horror movie (in which Ben Affleck is very good), look around for it. It's based off a Dean Koontz book, one of his best.

I may need to check that movie out, thanks.

I thought this movie was okay, not top tier and quite funny in places.

This is my favorite Kevin Smith movie, but the two squeals to Clerks are also good.

Thanks for watching this one. It is definitely my favorite religious themed film.

Not a problem, I also enjoyed it 😀👍🏼

Kevin Smith also directed a little known movie called Red State (2011), which I think is categorized as horror or thriller. It got mixed reviews but I liked it. It creeped me out big time and has a few really shocking moments.

Hmmm…maybe I will check this one out 👍🏼

I’m new to Kevin Smith and did not google any info in case of spoilers…but now I know there is more to enjoy, which I’m looking forward to 😄👍🏼

I see a Dogma Reaction, I hit Subscribe. One of my all-time favourite movies, and definitely my favourite by Smith. I'd also recommend (in this order) Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks 2, Jay & Silent Bob Reboot, and Clerks 3. That's the whole View Askewniverse and they range from really good to amazing. Cheers and Salutations from Canada.🥃☮❤

Clerks 2 is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Also, Yoga Hosers is actually part of the View Askewnaverse.

@@angelagraves865 Is it? I did not know that. Though, to be fair, that was definitely Smith's weakest movie.
@angelagraves8657 ай бұрын
@@SilentBob731 D'oh!! I was wrong. When I was looking up the View Askewniverse I read that Jay and Silent Bob were going to be in Moose Jaws, which is part of the True North trilogy, of which Yoga Hosers is also a part. But J&SB ended up not being on the movie.

Parts of this were filmed in my city. The church that they came through is in Pittsburgh Pa. You can see my dad's old building in the background ar rhe very end. Its gone now, theres a Target there now.

Wow, that's very cool that it was filmed near you, but I thought they would be get closer to NJ...

This is the fourth entry in Kevin Smith’s View Askewniverse. It follows Mallrats and Chasing Amy. I hope that you will also be reacting to those.

The whole point of the movie was to get folks to think. Think about ONLY the DOGMA of their religion, to the letter, for others, while forgetting the actual command parts for everyone. If you forget the love and charity part, it is JUST dogma. That was always my take.
@reactionswithruben6 ай бұрын
That makes sense, thanks for sharing.

Hug an atheists! We don't wage wars, we don't see ghosts or get possessed, we don't do good deeds for fear of an angry deity, we send help instead of thoughts and prayers, we trust science and the scientific method, and very very rarely are atheists serial killers (I don't know of any).

unfortunately, silent bob and his buddy never got to heaven.... in one of the movies they end up in helping the child of lucifer and die in the process... after that they go to hell, where they get the VIP treatment (all the perversions they can dream of, free of charge for all eternity).

You are right 😂 but the parts when I don’t speak I don’t include in the edits. If I do I get copyright, blocked, and or a strike…unfortunately I can’t risk that.
