I don't work at Dollar General per se, but my job is still within a Dollar General. I live in Las Vegas and the majority of gas stations/convenience stores and grocery stores have rows of slots and slot rooms. I work in a slot room at a Dollar General Market which is basically Dollar General with a full grocery section. I haven't come across any ghosts yet. The worst thing that occurred so far was a spider in one of the aisles that scared an old lady.

He still puts out plenty of different topics. They're organized into different series'. This is Tales from the Break room (work stories). He also pays subscribers for their work story submissions (the only horror narrator I know of that actually pays subscribers). I personally don't see what the problem is. Its fresh content we haven't heard before, he could be uploading the same lame reddit stories like all the rest of the narrators. Subscribers are earning a few bucks and I'm paying absolutely nothing for this free entertainment. If it's something you don't like just don't listen. Complaining isn't going to get DP to change his content/format.

I run multiple high-ranking podcasts. One is about work stories, the other about the unexplained. Both are featured here every week, usually in no particular order. Just skip what you don't like. That's all you gotta do.

@@KevinYannutz Exactly! Tales from the Break room is actually very clever if you think about it. Any type of story is acceptable, the only requirement is the story has to take place at work...a lot of stories "work" is just background information. Tales from the Break Room are not the typical "Karen" stories, this isn't a "rant about working in retail" reddit thread. These are Trucker stories( my fave), Park Ranger, Gas Station, etc, etc, etc. We get to hear about cryptids, ghosts, legit scary, creepy people, etc. The topic is broad, we never know what we may hear. And because this is the DP channel/podcast we know he doesn't just read anything. He has top notch standards. I don't care if they sound legit or creepypasta-ish, they're going to be good stories. Some people don't believe in ghosts or cryptids (why they listen I don't know) and they'll comment on how it's a fake story. Beliefs are besides the point. I look at it this way, if you believe you had an explained experience, if you think you saw a ghost or whatever and share it with us, then that's a true story. When I click on this channel and click on a video I know when I finish I don't feel like I've wasted my time.
