The kitchen shelves on the wall restrict the landing zone on the worktop and I thought that a big dog jumping up would hit its head on them and fall off. I thought that perhaps a dog was jumping up on to the cooker hob. I think I had discounted the Patterdale before the 'honey trap' came up with the culprit.

Wow. That graceful leap was on another level! Not only that, but she had it engineered precisely so she wouldn't hit her head on the upper cabinets. What a smart girl. I had this happen to my dog a while back, and it wasn't even christmas. I just like chocolate! 🤣. He was fine, too.

Haha - of course it was always going to be the greyhound or the lurcher. I used to have a greyhound who would snaffle anything that wasn't locked away of stored 6 feet up. Glad Fern is OK.
