Labs have such beautiful dispositions. We love walking in towns like that.

I agree with you 100%, Robert!! Loose leash walking should be a number one priority when outside!!

Excellent. Our 9 month old female Dobbie was introduced to patio and downtown walking from the get go. We're doing our best with in store walking and exposure with our 4 month old male Dobbie, but it's winter up here in Ontario so patio season is currently dead lol They still try to encite play every now again... puppies 😁

This is a cool confident dog to start with. How about training a timid dog to social with other dogs?

Having to keep a weather eye out for dog aggressive dogs is sadly part and parcel of walking these days. So many irresponsible owners about.

I just never let my dog meet the dogs on leash. My dog has been attacked on leash before and I just got sick of it.

My dog learned as a puppy that not all dogs are friendly when we go on walks so he himself decided to stop and look to me before approaching another dog so I can ask if it's friendly first if not I give the command to walk away

Wow it looks like Southern California. But without tents, homeless people and trash. How did they do this? Was a Chinese dignitary visiting?
@samwdavis6 ай бұрын
Nagging a dog is not a problem of frequency. It's a problem of strength of the correction. Poking a thousand times instead of ONE hard slap ONCE. It has to be a correction that is MEANINGFUL to the dog. The lack of that is NAGGING. You want a happy dog? Give it a MOMENT of EXTREME discomfort and clear communication instead of a lifetime of SLIGHT discomfort and confusing communication.

I’m sorry, but that dog doesn’t need socializing. I’d be thrilled with that dog. This was a wasted lesson. Come walk my Rottie with me.

@@RobertCabralDogs I would have like to see the issues and the correction. It’s like a trainer telling us “you should have seen Tom Brady before I worked with him”… well yeah, we would have like seeing the before and after improvement ourselves.

Lovely lesson, however, the dog needs to lose a lot of weight. Overweight dogs are generally man made.
