To stop the plates sliding, get a router anti-slip mat. I’m disabled and need bed rest at times and sometimes my plates would annoy the hell out of me sliding on my bed tray. One cheap, anti slip router mat later and it’s a winner. Plus you can cut the huge mat down to size in case it gets mucky for some reason and you still have lots left over for a new one.

Took me a while to figure them out, too. Jasper has VERY pink ears and his captions are yellow. Jade (the original house wolf) has a darker face as mentioned, plus her captions are white. 😄🐶🥰

My sable looks like Jet. Her dad is pure black with long hair, and her mom is a silver sable. The mom is from the old style European line of GSDs. All of the puppies have been sable or black, not tan and black or red and black. It’s (sable coats) genetic, and it’s the breed standard for the perfect coat color. It’s also the dominant coat color, so I would think you’d see more sables. Now that I have one, I see them everywhere.
