i think the black dog was actually trying to avoid the white dog and wasnt necessarily calm during and after the outdoor training. also seemed like the white dog was trying to have a last go at it as they practiced walking outside.

Absolutely. Black dog was trying to ignore the white dog. The white one is the one who is the more aggressive towards the other.

Dude it physically pains me to see them rewarding their dogs directly after fighting with 'good girl' and affection and pets and praising them and telling them they are good girls for fighting, they are Literally telling them "good girl, good job you did good, that's what we want, keep fighting... " its ridiculous. You need to disagree with your dog when it does harmful things and let them know their dangerous/destructive/damaging behavior is not acceptable, not rewarding them with affection and good girl and pets right after they have done something awful. Seriously I am Not a fan of government infringement into people's lives but just like how you need to become educated to a basic standard to drive, there should be a dog ownership course and license you need to complete before you can own a dog, its horrible seeing so many people accidentally messing up their dogs and creating a stressful life for their dogs through simple well meaning ignorance.

Glad Graham taught them how to disagree with their dogs bad behavior and communicate that disapproval, instead of inadvertently praising and rewarding and Reinforcing the bad behavior with 'good girl' and pets when they have acted horribly.

Thing is they are stroking them both to comfort the dogs when they lash out but that teaches the dogs that in that instant, that behaviour, they’re being ‘good’. Nope. You have to have a space to put them when they’re behaving badly. I use a crate. Watch body language closely between them and act accordingly to diffuse any issue. Whoever starts first correct it as soon as it happens and you’ll have no issues.

To live inside with the dogs leashed and muzzled isn't living. It's still too much stress, especially for the black dog! One of the dogs should be re-homed.
