Phase Linear 400 repair

Let Me be right up front and tell You that although I'm an experienced Technician, I've never worked on this type of amplifier before. The biggest problem for Me was obtaining relevant information and drawings of this model. I was also fortunate to find a company that provides a capacitor refurbishing kit complete with brand-new electrolytics. I mistakenly thought that it included some transistors but it didn't. The kit was designed to cover the re population of several versions of this model. This is a long video and I had thought of removing some of the wrong conclusions and mistakes such as calling a .22 resistor a 22 ohm and a capacitor a 10000 microvolt unit, LOL and a few rabbit holes I encountered while effecting this successful repair. It might save some time for those in the same boat so I left everything in and figured I could use the "old age" excuse and poor eyesight, LOL. I was really impressed with the thought that went into this piece of equipment considering that it is almost half a century old but still sounds great.
