It is those particular shoots when you go home, feeling miserable with the I could have or should have mentality, and you open them up on your computer & see that you got the best ones & didn't realize it. 😂

I bought your book literally the second i saw it! The for explaining behind the scenes and all of the fails it takes to get a winning portrait! I currently work in an oil refinery and desperately want to quit because i work 12 to 20 hour days and I desperately miss my dogs! So I love seeing your journey its giving me the bravery to make the plunge!

I love the book. I can't wait to try out all of your advice. Sadly my dog passed away recently and I'm having a hard time dealing with it so for now I've had to put my dog photography on the back burner for self preservation. Hopefully I'll be up to it again soon.

Wow - stumbled across this webinar today, so naturally I had to buy Kaylee's book after watching it. So many helpful insights and tips, but also reassuring to know that even with all the fancy equipment and experience, we all have bad days of shooting! Sometimes I get really discouraged, but I just have to trust the process and keep practicing. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise, and beautiful work with the world. I, too, started photographing dogs at my local shelter to make a difference and it's become a full blown business! What an inspiration you are! Warmest, Joanne

OMG, I didn’t realize Kaylee did a webinar!! We all love Kaylee and respect her so much! I am our local dog photographer. Since honing my skill and learning from Kaylee our adoptions have gone up 85%! It is interesting but I have volunteered to photograph the surrounding local towns that use caged, cell phone photos. I don’t know if they think I am intruding or trying to take charge but I have been met with hostility from a few places and let known they did not need any help.

Absolutely brilliant!! In the UK and have your fabulous book. I struggled for SO long on the action shot focus on single point (as I was advised to do) Hell no! small zone focus, a few adjustments to the case and Bam! probably 75% so I am indebted to you. And yes, the little suckers dart everywhere Ha Ha. x

Very interesting. I wonder what equipment you use, lens and flash? As well as which settings you use most often, focus, measurement, etc. Thank you for the inspiring course.

Thank you very much for doing this webinar....a lot of us watching this learned a lot. Just want to ask is there any standard or safe position of your strobes when your lighting your subjects?
@Hootch1904 Жыл бұрын
Am I assuming you did not have a large shade of any type you could open up and hold over the dogs doing the shoot? I would certainly think you would want one especially if forced to shoot in bright sun and you have helpers that could hold it while you shoot.
