Lovely video, but I love the slow movement of the camera when you were panning from side to side the mountains, gave the opportunity for us to take in the whole view in great clarity and time. You are one of the very few people whom I saw do this, great work.

I figure that the scenery is why I like being there so I should probably show it to everyone. Thanks for the comment, always good to know what people like and dislike.

Thanks for a best of video. Can you tell me which type of camera in your hands.?

Thank you ICE. Most of the handheld footage is a GoPro Hero 8 and the on bike is a Hero 7. This is one of the best National Parks I have stayed at in Thailand, it has great facilities (except for cold showers) and is located in a dream position for motorcyclists and also cyclists.

HI Barry Another Great Video with lovely scenery. So you mentioned they only have cold showers but this must be quite warm if the temperature is 17 degrees (64F(UK) or is it direct from the mountains if so then that would be cold.

Hi Stewart. All parks are different but I try to chose those that are in the mountains because they are cooler, especially at night. I think the water comes directly from the mountains so it is pretty cool but theres more to it than that. I used to teach scuba diving here in Thailand and Malaysia and the water temperatures never dropped below 25 degrees C, usually 28 or so. For the first year or two, diving in a t shirt was normal but as I got used to the heat then wetsuits came into play and eventually a thick wetsuit was needed. Thailand is hot as hell for a good part of the year and it feels it, but you kinda get used to it as well, early morning on the bike can still feel chilly.

@@theyellowforza6116 Wow, interesting. So please tell me - since you mentioned you've also lived in Malaysia and since I'm torn between retiring in Thailand (to which I've been twice, 3 months 2 years ago and 2 months last year) Philippines (I've been there 6 weeks Feb this year but mainly locked indoors, bummer) and Malaysia to which I haven't been but heard so much about their food (youtube), which of the two - or 3 if you've been in Philly too, would you choose to live in? thanks so much for your response - and I won't hold you to it. :-)

@@acr9319 Each have their own problems I think, although I have never been to the Philipines. Thailand is going rule crazy at the moment and it was going this way even before the pandemic, everything seems to have a cost attached to it. Not just the Visas and insurance but things in day to day life as well. Malaysia is a country some people like but I just couldnt get my head past their blatent racism rules, not against tourists but against Malay born Indians and Chinese. And from what I have athered the Philipines is a bit more like the wild west than the other two. Cannot reccomend which one to go to as the Philipines might win, burt I would not personally be on my way to Malaysia.

@@theyellowforza6116 I really appreciate your insight. Looks like Thailand is the one that'll open up the soonest too, which makes me think I will most probably go there first. As for Malaysia,.. hmmm, I still will hold them as at least a visit in the near future, I really want to taste their food so bad I'm feeling sick just thinking about it. So looks like the Philippines will probably be last open and so last on the list. If you have a paypal account I'd be happy to shout you a beer for your help. Cheers Tony
