I loved it! My favorite thing is the thought they put into details that are going to be hidden in the final view, like the back of the carnival worker. It really shows how puzzles are more about the process than about the final look.

I used to have an New York City lego firetruck back in 2005 it collapsed in cardboard box in 2017 when we tried to put it back together more than one piece snapped in two

I wonder if the puzzle was in a humid environment? The humidity would make the pieces swell. Thank you for showing how the puzzle was printed. I love playing the carnival games even if they’re made for me to lose more than win.

My guess is that the puzzle may have been on display for sometime. Even if it was for just a year, the amount of moisture cork absorbs in that time frame is enough

I haven't done a carnival level 3D puzzle like this one. I did do a 3D castle puzzle maybe 30 or 40 years ago. Instead of cork, I think it had some kind of foam. It was fun. I love your enthusiasm, excitement, and faux (maybe it's real) panic with difficult or failing pieces. Your narrative is so entertaining. Keep it up. I'm hooked!! And, yes, I definitely thought you thought the puzzle was cute! You're teasing us, right?

What a fun Carnival! I think that the illustration was cute. I would have especially loved putting it together as a kid. This is reminding me of the 3D puzzles I used to do that had foam board in them. My favorite was the Tiffany lamp that really worked. I should look for them again and do another one.

Oh my gosh, my brother and I built that same K'Nex ferris wheel growing up!! We had an entire Carnival's worth of sets and rebuilt them almost every year growing up. It was a blast. This puzzle is so cute. I just wish it was designed a little better. Great video, as always!

What a fun puzzle!!! Reminds me of my youth - there was usually a carnival that came to town in the summer, and their ferris wheel didn’t look half as colorful as yours!!! I’ve done several 3-d puzzles - i like doing buildings as it’s a great way to notice the structural details. My favorite was putting together The White House.

I did the 3D Color Sphere puzzle after watching her video and it was so fun to put together!! A bit challenging, esp. because I learned a little too late that some pieces are the *exact* same shape as others, so have to watch out making sure that color shade really does go there. 😆 I have it on my shelf behind me just like hers!!! hehehe

We humans used to sit and weave clothes and whittle tools for hours and hours and hours. I think repetitive fine motor tasks are super comforting to us for that reason. Useful, minimal calorie waste, creative, communal or solo depending on your vibe; it's very calming. Puzzling and things like it are SO human.

I have an older (90's) 3d puzzle that I think you would really enjoy. It's called Hotel Whodunit by Buffalo Games. It's a mystery puzzle and you build the puzzle around the box using the clues on the pieces (the guy in room 304 has a red shirt, etc.) You can also "see" into some of the hotel rooms from different sides of the box. I haven't been able to find another puzzle like this one but I definitely recommend you try it if you can find it because I think it has a lot of the elements you look for when doing a mystery type of puzzle.

Kids and I enjoyed watching this today, we have a few 3D puzzles (foam) that they enjoy working on. They are tough, so sometimes they dont finish. Watching you work on this today I think encouraged them to keep trying. Funny thing, we find our 3D puzzles at goodwill. CARNIVAL!
