Dig a trench around the tents in case of heavy rains or snow melt next spring.

Wow that's nice & spacious. Really cool Sandy! Thankyou for allowing us to browse! Awww, Jerry Lee loves his Hella 🐾❤ Ed you're a hoot, heck you could pole dance when the wood stove is in there 🤣 I think its awesome you can even have a wood stove in a tent! I bet it'll run you outta there too, nothing like wood heat 🤗🇺🇲❤🇺🇲

I'm happy that it rained here, all of .40 or so and a total of 4.30 inches now for the year as it is better now here.

Looks like someone is prepping Smirnoff! Love the tent, only issue - if it is to be used during winter, gonna need some bracing on the ridgepole area for snow load - WV likely to have a wetter heavier snow. Otherwise with proper insulation and the woodstove, its doable to last through a winter. Water drainage is going to also be another issue. Shame there was not time to dig away from the sides so the tent was raised up on its own little island. Perhaps some sort of decking underneath would be wise for long term.

Keep an eye on that tent during rain and snow as both could cause damage to the tent. Had a Coleman from age 5- 30 that was used in US along US 40from IN to CA to NY where it went along with our VWBus and used from England to Sicily. I Vividly remember scampering into to Bus (first experience or 10,with what they later made and sold as a waterbed) or being awakened to my Dads voice telling us to grab our stuff and jump in the bus. I still love to camp! That tent would still be around if my sister hadn't put it up on a nest full of fire ants! May you have many a great time in your places! Thanks for the tour...been eyeballing it!

That's nice, but if it were mine I would want it a raised deck to keep the water from running under it.

Love that tent! What if all the tents were up on platforms? I was thinking if a lot of rain came.

Heavy canvas is not the word for these tents, they are AMAZING! Just to warn Sandy i might have to pay her some rent to sneak my sleeping bag in there till the " hunting blind" gets built lol

Kodiak !! good choice i bought the 10X14 flex bow 6 years ago for me and the kid in cub scouts now boy scouts. its the best tent i have owned. not suppose to use the wood stove during the scout camp. RULES 😐. but i didnt ask about using the propane heat buddy. so far so good. they still havent asked why my tent is the only one not covered in frost in the winter. haha
