Hey Seth, Couple months ago i was riding a department store bike and didnt even know how to wheelie, manual or stoppie. At some point I bought a good mountain bike and started to hit my local trails(in quarantine). Now I've progressed so much that i can ride black diamonds(and double) with ease and can hit jumps the size of A-line. My fitness level has also went up dramatically. Best investment of my life! Edit: Also i forgot to mention that the reason I got into mtn biking is that I got recommended a berm peak trail building video and Seth became my favourite youtuber.

@@the_ultra_robot6884 they should all be e-bike friendly. there are so many myths about them damaging trails and many other lies. they are not motorcycles. you are just pedaling, so you won't tear up the trails. it's literally no different than any mountain bike when it comes to impact on the trails. it's the same as putting a 200 pound rider on a bike that's normally ridden by someone that weighs 175...

I’ve noticed that as well. It is the carbon full suspension has a bit of a creek in it. I would recommend that he would spray the linkage with simply green degreaser and let it set for 10 minutes exactly. After that, he would spray it down the linkage with water. Afterwards, he should put triflow on each linkage point to make the ride creek free.

Wow!!! This is so awesome!!! This is now on my bucket list!! I picked up an eMTB, a Specialized Turbo Levo. These eMTBs allows me to ride again after 27+ years off the bike. I’m 62 years old with back surgery, bad knees( no cartilage ) and 6 titanium plates holding some ribs together. It’s sooo much fun!! I feel young again because it allows me to ride trails and being active again!! I’ve lost 35lbs because I can ride again despite my age and physical handicaps. I love and appreciate that this park is eMTB friendly. I will put this park on my list to ride!! Thanks you!! Best Regards, Cesar

Hey Seth. I doubt you will see this message but I think many people would appreciate a video on how to build a kicker ramp out of the wooden planks which you normally use. Most of your videos building a kicker ramp doesn't really specify, 'Types of affordable wood you can use, how to select a radius, where to support the ramp etc. If you uploaded a video on how to do this on any of your channels, it would be an incredible help to me and I'm sure, many others too. Most videos out there use plywood but I prefer the wooden plank approach that you use. Thankyou so much and I'm a massive fan of yours. I hope you see this.

@kainpwnsu

@@Michael-hn8bo Fortunately, you can reasonably ride in 90°-100°F heat here, provided you have plenty of water and some electrolytes. The air is dry, so perspiration rapidly evaporates to cool you down. That water supply is critically important! Now, living in Arizona? That's beyond "dry heat" and you aren't going to survive long on your own. "[Phoenix] should not exist. It is a monument to man's arrogance."

Funny enough, I'm glad I changed my stem after my first couple rides and happened to notice the headset got loose. So glad you mentioned it in this video. Thanks, Seth. I love your stuff.

Thanks Seth, recently purchased my first ebike (cube acid) and first decent mtb (last one was a gary fisher) and due to lockdown, not been able to take it back to the lbs for a service. I've noticed a clicking noise from the front, and thanks to this video, looks like I just need to do some basic adjustments to keep it in top form. Fab advice from across the pond in Sunny (not so sunny) Wales.

When rocking the bike back and forth the pads can move around inside the brake caliper. This can make you think your headset is loose but in reality nothing is wrong. This usually only happens with those hydraulic two finger brakes on the cheaper side of things.

Also, on less expensive forks, they can sometimes flex or have some play, giving the impression of a loose headset.

@Will Mauney tell me about it haha I work at a LBS and those cheap ass forks are the most dangerous component. All it takes is a shitty weld to brake and then the lowers can just fall off.
