Federico talking about the importance of being aware of the experiencer of our perceptions. He says that this is where infinite potentiality lies. He also says that openness, lightness, and delight are important markers of Being. Federico does not deny that having or doing are necessary or good, but if we wish to be happy, they will not result in happiness.
Federico says that it is simple to see that the doing and the having that result from the doing are actually happenings that are not controlled by anyone necessarily. He says that it is only "cause-and-effect" in that way if the happening of the totality has already determined it to be so.
Federico emphasizes that the key is to be aware of the experiencer of perception, rather than focusing on the doer of haver of things. While having and doing are necessary and good, they do not lead to happiness. The role of having and doing in our lives can be very important, acknowledging that they allow us to be here and experience life in the way we do (like being able to read this). However, Federico points out that having and doing are not necessarily controlled by us, and that there is no direct cause-and-effect relationship between them and happiness.
Our experiences are not necessarily determined by our actions.
Being aware of the experiencer of perception is the key to unlocking our infinite potential.

There is no guarantee that effort and striving will lead to happiness.
