Doing Illegal Stuff to Engine Swap My Car! | BeamNG.drive Career Mode

Heading back to BeamNG's Career Mode, I continue on my quest to upgrade my ETK-I Series as much as possible. In this case, I swap out the small 2.4L I6 with the bigger 3.0L I6 to make this car faster and powerful. On top of swapping the engine, there's a chance that I'll trade this car in as upgrading the engine tends to improve the trade in value to get a better car.

You should increase your FOV so you can see more of the interior of the car , Its a little too focused on the centre of the screen. If you make it wider , It should help with things like driving and racing. It'll allow you to know where the position of the car is which will help for many challenges like the parking one. Great video👌. Cant wait for more videos , you should make plans on buying a work vehicle , while tuning and upgrading this I-series. The devs are actually making progress on career mode and they are thinking about incorporating owning a house and keeping your cars there instead and more jobs on trucking ,which is so cool👍

Some people like me have their monitor right infront of their wheel like a triple monitor but with one monitor and it's more realistic but a anything above a 750 ti with a decent cpu can run VR so if you have a VR use that or use trackir to track your head movement

@@Zoomrail yeah , I understand that circumstance, its like looking through a window, but if you increase the FOV then , it acts like a fisheye lens and isnt realistic. ,but if you bring the focus backwards without having to change the FOV , you can still see way more and it doesnt become fisheyed, it also works great with the setup that you have , as many people have their monitor real close to make the experience better.

@@nerfgodbigguy1405 i have my monitor super close for this reason its feet are off my desk partly but it's still not enough i have vr but when i run it, it crashes my PC so i have to risk holding the power button to turn it off so I just gave up on VR for beaming I don't understand why VR has gone on Vulkan if it was on dx11 it wouldn't crash for basically anyone who hasn't had problems with dx11 for me Vulkan just changing a setting in the MAIN MENU freezes it and then it black screens and I have to restart

@@Zoomrail it very much seems like Vulcan isn't optimised for Beam at the moment. I agree , they should have went for dx11 ,even if they realy wanted to go for vulcan. They should have used it so they can represent what can become of beamVR instead of using a very unfinished/unoptimised Vulcan, would have been way easier to just use dx11 as the demo. They could also use both so you can play VR on low and high end Pc's.

Hey TRIZE I have a thing for you. You can make good money buy doing a chop shop! Where you buy a car take off ALL of the parts sell them then sell the car. You make more mkney doing it that way. AND there is a mod that improves the career mode. If i find the link itll be in the replies! Anyways thanks for the awesome video's!

You don't actually need to get the goals for each mission, and you can do them after, and itll still count

And yeah, the bonus/normal stars can be done after, and all the challenges will complete just the same even if you modify the settings/car, so just do the bonus stuff last

Oh! another thing, you can part out cars, and it'll earn you more money back than just selling the car outright

Also to even begin with, you can get a ETK 800 for around 6k if you are patient you could probably get a mid end one

​​​@@Foggy404you can find real good deals on the used cars , i saw someone get a 2015 ETK K-series kc8 ttsport for 35,000 , the engine had a lot of miles and was clearly struggling ( Its a sports car ,not rated for highest of durability ). All that was needed was a engine swap , but that was WAY to expensive , so they just swapped out some parts of the engine that they thought were the cause of low power.

Anyone know why when i want to buy new engine the game forces me to also buy it's block, ecu, TRANSMISSION stuff like that. It doesn't make sense. For example i have in my car already 5 speed manual and i-4 engine, when i want to buy i6 engine the game also forces me to buy automatic 4 speed transmission. WHY? 13:55 - as you can see on the video TRIZE clicked only the new engine and he has option to buy only the engine but for me the game forces me to buy additional stuff that doesnt make sense like transmission, ecu, block etc (how can you buy an engine without a block? wtf)
