The Herbie Variants have "Water Thrusters" for when you are in the water. you just have to map them in the Control Settings. I should know as I played around with the older versions A LOT.

@@SimulatorAdventures My Mistake, they are now on by Default. You just go to Vehicle config > Tuning > Water Float and just crank up the power. 30MP/H+ on the water.

The yellow thing at 2:29 is to defog the windows from the inside. Car did not have air con. In the winter or rain this was the only help you could ask for just to wipe the windows.

I actually own a ‘76 beetle, and the mod is pretty realistic. It’s pretty hard to get an accurate clutch feel/bite like on the real car, but the power, gearing, and especially suspension feel very accurate. Granted my beetle is later than the mod, but beetles have always been pretty similar.

Had my dad tear it down to discover the motors lit on fire. :( I have a G29 now tho, which kinda sucks because I can't exactly use the buttons on my G27 shifter, but the shifter still works :D
