Great point about higher air pressure in the middle tire. I wouldn’t have thought of that. Thanks for the tip! 👍🏼

Great video. Useful for me with my old 1982 Argo 8x8

Had a 1983 8x8 those pin axel are garbage broke every one. Braking the main sucks bc you lose drive on one side, broke both ended up changing them all to key and spline shafts. I still blow bearings on the 2005 so they never fixed that issue.

That is right, damn problem with the old pined style axles! For the moment they are to worn, I will change the axles.

Nothing like a bit of service maitaince Big Boones buddy. One uga duga you don't want to be wrenching to hard again in woods good ideas buddy. My brother's mate has one but no drive I said I would take a look for him when I can get over. So your videos maybe help me out I can always give you a message. It's had new chain's so they said but ach am sure we will sort it out nice one mate. Good luck with your hunt.👍👍

Ali Mack- Mechanical this is my third Argo so any question I’m there buddy. Anything older than 1997 has spring pins in the axels they brake and you’ll loose the drive off the main axel. What’s good is they can be upgraded to stronger modern axel with spines and key.

The grease nipples should be somewhere around 1/8” NPT, you could go to a heavy truck parts store and grab some air line fittings and a little bit of synflex hose to setup a remote grease nipple for that hard to get one... my Avenger has them for the idler shaft inboard bearings and man it saves scraped knuckles. Good luck hunting! 👍

Puskwaska Outdoors I was think about doing something like that. Only that one nipple under the battery that gives me or everyone a problem. Good luck on the moose hunt 👍
