I saw kiki gyan in the last concert he did with osibisa at the national stadium in Accra 1977. The memory is still vivid especially the keyboard solo he did on cherryfield.. It was unfortunate that he quit the group with kofi ayivor. Kiki you will always my best keyboard player in the world and Ayivor the best conga player. Rip.

Born in Europe, Big fan of Osibisa and Kiki Gyan... The story is sad though. I remember watching him play the keyboard during the Osibisa homecoming in 1999. I also watched his interview with Oboshie Sai Kwofie and with Kwaku Sakyi Addo. His story on substance abuse and decline touched everyone We all wanted him to make music again and we were all routing for him to beat the addiction. I think the moving part is where he apologises to his daughter. Its so sad. But coping with fame like he was doing is tough and substance abuse is incredibly difficult to deal with. Its just a shame that Ghana lost such a great talent. Anyway... Would love to hear the song Rosemary.... oh, and Woyaya.. reminds me of Osofo Dadzie.....

The Group Osibisa was dead wrong for abandoning this young Man. They should have helped him when he was down. Kiki helped the group to achieve the stardom they are enjoying today.
