I am in active recovery. It is so hard to learn to surrender and soften when the thoughts and body symptoms rise. But I loved this episode. I may listen again and again. Willfully tolerate takes practice. I tried to reason, talk to, etc., etc. and it may work short-time but it does get one to recovery. I am trying!! 😊😊

For many of us meditation is just more time to marinate in our own negative thoughts. I’d rather move my body than sit on a cushion

Hey there, sorry to hear how it is. I can relate at times. The summary I would give: Do nothing to fix the anxiety (or other MH stuff). Rather, as hard as it is and with whatever baby steps necessary, do things that you would like to do (or if that is hard: things you would like to like doing). Over time, this can be beneficial. It can be very hard work, which depending on how you’re feeling, can “feel” so hard.

Challenge those thoughts , say to yourself " if I sleep I sleep , and if I don't then so be it " and mean it Its a game changer
