I was playing video games today this morning and something told me to just REST. I felt so drained, moody and restless. I went through most of my life dreading my period but then I went through a time in my life where I was unwell and didn’t have it at all, and all I prayed for was to be healed! Now I am thankful when I get my period-I am well, God made me beautifully and with the ability to carry life! How amazing

I actually really love this! Recently, i use my period time to do more intercessory prayers since my empathy and compassion is much higher. I find that God uses me to pray more fervently for whoever im praying for during this season and its beautiful 💖💖💖

oh my goodness I was just praying to God to help me to be closer to him while on my cycle. I also fast the first two weeks of every month, and its just felt off since my cycle would start as well. so when you said to take a sabbath week, everything clicked!! I was neglecting my physical and mental needs as I was trying to draw nearer to God, but he showd me through your video that it's okay to take a break

I wish we didn’t have to work during our periods. Because during my period i am extremely tired. But when i get home i make sure food is made for my son or he make a sandwich and im in bed. I do nothing that week but go to work if i have to .

Also, like you said about what’s in Acts, it is not talking about menstrual cycles. Periods will always be a “self cleaning” process so yes, it’s unclean. Hope this helps 🥰

There are different types of laws in the old testament. Including judicial law, ceremonial law, and moral law. Jesus made it clear in the new testament that the only laws we are still required to obey (not to obtain salvation of course but as just the standard of conduct we are called to uphold ourselves to as Christians) is God's moral laws. This includes things like the ten commandments and the golden rule for example. Paul also reiterated what Jesus said, even explaining that the other non moral laws were for back when Judiasm was still necessary. But it's not, anymore! We are now free in Christ. We aren't supposed to abuse grace but we certainly don't need to worry about laws specific to a past nation anymore. So things like having intimate relations with your husband while you're on your period are now no longer a problem as this was an ancient ceremonial law. They would be both ceremonially/spiritually unlcean, but probably physically as well. Back then, before the age of things like running water, on tap, and modern medicine, it was probably safest to not engage in intimate relations during a woman's period due to the fact that blood is, even by today's standard, considered unclean (modern word for it is bio hazard). That's because it's full of bacteria among other things. So it's likely to cause infection. Or at least, probably did, way back then. Better for them to just not engage in that activity until the woman's period was over. Anyway that's just some information for you to consider. Hope this helps.
