I have been wanting to experiment with this for quite a while- the colors on the second shot are great! BTW, 5 minutes from shutter to finished photo is pretty great by today's standards!

I never thought I'd do colour... It's not as difficult or expensive as I thought it was. It would be super cool if I could figure out how to make this a simple process, maybe with a back that can process the picture.

Great information here! what times and temp did you use on the multigrade developer? Have you tried other b&w dev's?

I used 1.5 min for the first development with dektol to try totally developing it out. I have tried mixing dektol with only 1/5 the restrainer and that may have reduced mottling a bit. Also, if mottling is a problem, rinsing in 0.4% hypo helps.

great stuff. i did some RA4 reversal experimentation before too. what was the final filtration used at 23:00?

I used a Y30 M20 combo with the M3 flashbulb, which I understand illuminates around 4200K

Hello hace you try with Kodak 85B filter or another tunsteno corrector Daylight?
@hackaninstant11 ай бұрын
Yes, an 85b filter works with rinsed paper outdoors with a little yellow added
@rahandulcaspatal527611 ай бұрын
@@hackaninstant do you mean that need a little more yellow filter ? 85b+20Y (enlarger filter for example)?
@hackaninstant11 ай бұрын
@@rahandulcaspatal5276 something like that-- you'd have to experiment...

How does kodak colour paper compare to fuji?

I haven't worked with Kodak paper, but I've heard it doesn't have the dye mask.

That's unfortunate, I have like ten boxes of it and the thought of not having to worry about filtration to use it in camera made me so happy!

@@kickflip6270 If you happen to take out a sheet and examine it in the light, let me know if it has a dye mask on it...

Finally checked a box of kodak supra paper I have.. it does have a blue mask on it, and it's almost as dark blue as your shirt. However it does wash off. Only did a short 30 second rinse but it looked promising

you can replace BLIX with a ferricianyde-acid bleach and final common fix. better shelf life an much cheaper!
@hackaninstant Жыл бұрын
Do you know the recipe for that bleach? What kind of acid does it use?
