Honestly I would've hard-make the moerk for that first hand just for the destruction protection, you aren't losing any value from doing so, so you might as well!

Runick Plunder must be the better version so far or maybe the best for me. what a good deck. Another thing I took out the fenrys, I really don't wanna draw that in my enemy turn with Bluebeard or the field spell

In the last test hand, I believe you specialed Bluebeard without another Plunder onboard. No good. You might double check that.

Just a question, how come you preemptively use Lys effect to bring Blackbeard back to the main monster zone? Wouldn't it be better to keep him attached to Lys so you get the effect of Lys to add a Plunder card when you negate your opponent's first monster effect? Then afterwards you can bring Blackbeard out. Is there a reason to have Blackbeard out of the S/T zone preemptively?

Yeah, lys summon effect is main phase only, which means you lose both your lys and blackbeard to a standby phase imperm, book of moon, book of eclipse, droplet, etc. its harder for them to break your board if you split the blackbeard to start. And the search is less important than that

Really love your in depth videos, I’ve just started playing plunder and still learning but I want to play master duel with it, I’m thinking runick or Labyrinth could be a good engine to run with it, do you have any tips or ideas?

Adventure engine is the classic route with plunder. The runick version is a totally different feel of deck. Depends which playstyle is more for you. Haven’t tried any lab stuff mixed in before, seems gimmicky, but people have had success with it so i guess there’s something there

How do you feel about 60 cars Runick Adventure Plunder? I’ve been testing the hands and it’s actually very good combined with a couple Kaijus

@phantomsygo will do, ive only done some minimal testing online but the synergy seems to be there. Furniture discard whitebeard turn 0 goes hard obviously but beyond that im not sure how gimmicky the rest of the techs are. You can run rivalry as everythings a fiend, the plunder ships are lvl 8 fiends too so they work with big welcome gy effect. You can summon your plunder cards with the lvl4 labrynth monsters and go full plunder combo. There's a lot there to learn

You seem like you dont really enjoy this Deck because of the bricks. Do you still recommend building it like this? Been thinking about playin it like you

I think it’s just a really cool alternative to adventure plunder which i’ve been playing for a couple years. Feels like two totally different decks and i think i’ll be willing to play both going forward. If you want to pick one or the other you kinda have to figure out if your playstyle is moreso aggressive big monster building (advwnture) or slow control grind (runick)

You right whoops. But no matter the draw it wouldnt change the endboard at that point
