If we're not looking for something specific (both lands and non-lands are fine draws) I don't mind drawing first. With the knowledge from that extra draw we can now Surveil according to our new needs. It's also a way to get a card deeper into the deck as opposed to potentially Surveiling and keeping a card on top before drawing.

It would when not facing much resistance, but it’s also quite susceptible to spot removal. It’s perhaps a win-more card when firing off a big Genesis Wave while not contributing to our plan before that point. Hydra can win with much less setup in different builds like I have showcased recently.
