Some questions/suggestions 1: Mogg Fanatic combo line - When you are in a situation where you can play recruiter you can stack your deck with snoop > kiki-jiki and optionally mogg fanatic as the 3rd (fanatic only if you have mana to play kik-jiki after your combo is complete). It lets you skip the muxus route and play this with a lot less mana on board. You play snoop the next turn and make infinite snoops targeting itself as long as you have a haste enabler on the field with kiki-jiki on the top of your library. If you don't have a haste enabler then you put Torch Courier before the kiki-jiki or snoop and play that to sacrifice it and give the snoop haste before doing the combo with kiki-jiki on the top of the library. This means that when you leave mogg fanatic on the top of your library with snoop active when the forced sacrifice happens at the end of the turn you burn the table for the win. If your goblin recruiter is being left alone though AND you don't have the mana to play the kiki-jiki itself you can use the goblin recruiter on field as the last target for the snoop combo to put the mogg fanatic on the top of your library instead of kiki-jiki. This can also be done with a line of recruiter into muxus as well putting kiki-jiki as the 7th goblin from the top so you put snoop and mogg fanatic into play from the muxus ETB letting you kill without a sac outlet if your prospector/sharpshooter is in your GY. I like the versatility of not needing to have sharpshooter of pashalik mons on field plus a sac outlet to make the most out of just the snoop + kikijiki, and it works without having the mana for muxus to pull off the other combo since it only requires 4 mana to do (snoop and goblin recruiter) making it possible to do on turn 3 in magical christmas land or turn 4 if you have matron in starting hand. 2: Why goro-goro? Since practically speaking you aren't giving krenko haste and his 5 cost ability is "win more" since you would win with infinite hasty 1/1s just as easily as you'd win with infinite hastey 5/5s. Something like drawbridge or goblin instigator helps a lot more with that in your starting hand if thats your goal. 3: Why Goblin king over metallic mimic or another lord effect via an artifact? At least with your current list. Since you are not running blood moon + magus of the moon in order to activate the mountain walk more consistently. If they were there i'd say hes much better. The mimic is also lower to the ground curve wise and is pure generic mana so if you have ashnod's out or something you can still get value from a single sac to play something, though that coming up is very specific and unlikely. Another combo to add is swapping over equipment to hobogoblin and untapping him instead of krenko. If hes on field and you don't have a haste enabler during an infinite combo & you have no real sac outlet to deal damage or enchantment to ETB with. This way you can summon ~40 goblins with krenko + mantle/sword etc and then just kill everyone for 4 extra mana. This is something you can also do if you do the snoop + kiki-jiki combo as well if for some reason you just need to kill one more person at the table or have enough mana to untap him a few times as well. The infinite damage with blazing sunsteel isn't something i've seen before, so thats a cool little piece of tech. Considering you can just pay 3 to fight your own creature its quite funny. I've seen some interesting plays like swinging with pildriver and then fighting piledriver with taunter during combat step to deal 10-30 damage to someone, so this makes those plays consistent even out of combat but at a high mana cost investment, but if left unchecked for one turn after equipped it can be game over so thats hilarious to me.

Wow that was some very insightful informarion for me because I am still learning how to pull off all the countless combos that a Krenko deck provides. Ironically it seems I had an almost perfect starting hand with matron, recruiter etc. in my last match yesterday and was simply overwhealmed with deciding which card to put on top of the libary in which order. Thanks for the indepth writeup! Btw, can't you do the Snoop-Kiki-Jiki combo without the Mogg Fanatic? I mean potentially you can just produce infinite Snoops with Kiki-Jiki on top of your library (as long as you have a haste enable for your first Snoop) and then simply attack your enemies with the infinite Snoops.

@@ThaMobstarr They'd all be tapped minus the last one unless you use that one to re-target recruiter to get your other piece. Since you have to tap to target itself, then that one comes in untapped... then target either and that one becomes tapped etc etc. So you need an outlet for the end of the combo/loop. Like sac outlet for mana + dark dweller or mog fanatic or putting pshalik mons on field so when the tokens die you can kill the table. There are some more choices, but those are the most common. Or you need an ETB damage effect like impact tremors.

Hi! I really liked your video. I also run a Krenko deck. I recently added Patriar’s Seal, which came out in Baldur’s gate. Gets you to untap Krenko once each turn for 1 mana, but also helps cast Krenko on those games you just don’t get that fourth land in your hand. Thanks for your content!

I have Krenko but bro I have none of the other cards in this video....like not a single one. I just started magic a few months ago and only have one person I get to play against and that is rarely at that. I don't have a job bc I'm a stay at home father of two and so getting the money to get these things is near impossible. Some of these cards you talked about are just absurdly expensive and even though you can use proxies I don't like to. Just made a Krenko deck yesterday actually but it really sucks tbh. I can't even do a fraction of what you're talking about here. Thanks for the help either way. I really need it.

Of course boss I totally Understand too gotta watch for the reprints. It’s sometimes cheaper with Krenko to commit to swarming with a ton of tokens vs the combos I’m talking about. A lot of the untap cards are cheaper and they released Sting in LOTR that does it every combat that’s like a buck. And then go for haste enablers for all the tokens. Hope this helps ❤

@synergysanctum4202 I t does a little. Thank you. I think also I'm not sure what I'm doing with my deck. I have around 25 creatures, 4 artifacts, and 28 sorceries and instances all together. I put draw spells and burn into it because I thought they'd help me out. Strangly enough the draw spells seem to hurt me more than help me and the burn is only useful on occasion. I do have a lot of cards to choose from as far as generic cheap commons but other than being goblins their abilities don't help me in any way for the most part. Honestly making a deck with so many options like this is well overwhelming. My head kills me just thinking about what to use and what to leave out.

@@ReaperSaga-3713 ​​⁠so I usually commit to 2-3 strategies of what I want the deck to do and then the bulk of the cards should assist the same purpose or be utility like draw or removal. With red all draw except for like a skullclamp will Have a discard effect so it’s rough :/ I’d too burn is pretty situational in commander you’re better off going with buffing the goblins and forcing blocks or cards like chaos warp that don’t care how bit something is

If you have goblin Ringleader as your last draw from Muxus you can add 4 more goblins you had lined up into your hand. With goblin wizard also out through muxus (and a hast giver) you can play them all too, ofc if you have a mana trick running you could just play them all too. Fancy instant death stuff is annoying, I'd rather set up ways to show off every single goblin in the deck just in time for a board wipe. I like a little casual fun on the side of my insane combo wombos.

Good video. Lots of the basics seem pretty standard for a Krenko deck. I'm not a fan of the Sword of the Paruns (way too mana intensive) or the grants Haste lands (because they're really only hasting if you're building out your board and waiting til turn 5+ to play Krenko, and I've usually won by turn 5, maybe 6). I only run 15 creatures + Krenko in mine (affectionately known as Krenko Full Crank). My youngest runs a mono G Elf tribal (Marwyn) that's dang fast and he hates Krenko lol But all said, I certainly enjoyed your video and potential Krenko players will have a great time with yours

Question: For the Kiki-Jiki / Lightning Crafter combo, do you need to champion a goblin before Kiki-jiki can make a copy? The way it's described in the video, it sounds like you just play Lightning Crafter and copy with with Kiki-Jiki, then champion KJ to the copy. Makes no mention to providing a Champion for the first copy, but that will be necessary to keep in play for the combo to continue as the KJ copy is sac'd to Prospector, correct? For this combo to work, it seems like you need at least one goblin on board (probably Recruiter), along with enough mana to cast Muxus. Still a great combo, I'm just trying to understand the process clearly so nobody tries to catch me on a technicality at my LGS while losing to something so absurd.

Really appreciate that video, I just finished building my first commander (with krenko) and just can wait to receive the card that I was missing, I use most of the combos you were talking about but I did one deck with cheaper mana cost card, trying to go even faster. Maybe it's not that worth, I will see when playing it and change stuff if needed ^^. Question, I made the choice to use more card that buff goblin with +1/+0 instead of +1/+1 cause of skullclamp and maybe to be able to kill them easier to trigger goblin die's effect, what do you think about that? I assume you can still use skullclamp on a goblin and sacrifice it to draw card (maybe infinitely with skirk prospector or ashnods altar) but isn't it more safe to do as I said? Hey Jean yeah if I was going wide I’d go with the +1/+0 cards more personally. The goblins are all fodder so doesn’t matter if they die and if you’re playing cards for the ETB or death triggers it really doesn’t matter

btw it's turn 1: mountain, sol ring, staff turn 2: mountain, krenko turn 3: mountain, equip staff to krenko, play skirk prospector, tap krenko for 2 goblins, sac 1 for a red mana, wash rinse, repeat. use any win condition you want. (Multiplayer: goblin sharpshooter, altar of the brood, mass hysteria (or any other haste enabler, such as hammer of purphoros) etc.) (1v1 you can use fun one-shots like: last ditch effort, goblin war strike, or mob justice.) You can also use skull clamp or dark-dweller oracle to help draw into these win-cons
