I wish we had friends who were handy near us. As we end up having to pay people to fix stuff. My hubby is good with computer stuff and I'm semi-handy I just wish we had friends and family that that were handy and can fix this like you because here when stuff breaks down we either have to pay somebody to fix it which is sometimes more than buying a new one and then we give away our broken one to somebody who is handy and can use themselves.

Dad always told me, ( If you have the will, there's always a way.) and so far he has been right. Paw paw and my dad mind set.

Most problems are from lack of preventative maintenance. And this flipping ethanol fuel ruins every small engine, if proper precautions are not taken. You covered the air part, other than a nasty air filter. I think it will run surprisingly well, and they may want it back. Another Great video. Spring is on the way. Have a good one. Keep them coming.

MOST of the time it is a fuel issue from having left ethanol fuel mix in them over the winter. That ethanol is deadly on the little diaphragms in the carbs.

A little gas, a little oil, a little spark a little coil a piece of rope and a 4 inch board. Put then together and you've got a Ford.

Anything made by weed eater is not economical repairable. People bring me that stuff to fix, I tell them to go buy a new one.
@DoingItCheap6 жыл бұрын
I understand what you are saying. They can buy a new one because of the cost of your labor. But for me, it would only be the cost of materials. Plus, these videos are a teaching tool for the folks out there that can't afford to pay a professional. IF I want something done right and I can't do it, it is to people such as you that I turn.

Looks dirty....that means used.........the gas we can get is engineered to allow for less than one hundred hours of service on small engines. The public would be outraged if this was allowed to our motor cars....but you watch it's coming.....glad I'm aged, but worry for the great grand kids.
