In looking at the inside of the workshop, it is apparent that the reason you don't have room to bring any of your equipment in is that it is very cluttered and disorganized with items that should be put up in the mezzanine area. The structure you bought to hang meat has been sitting taking up valuable space since you bought it months ago. It along with all the other junk scattered about could easily be stored in the mezzanine giving you ample room for equipment. Workbenches that you were going to build along the back wall haven't been built (which would be the perfect place for your miter saw to live as well as all the other scattered about small items), outlet and switch cover plates remain uninstalled, tape on the glass on the man door remains unremoved, heating source for the in-floor heating system remains unselected therefore uninstalled. But you decide it's a good idea to mow the snow.

10:00 My take on things. When hyraulic equipment is not used for some time, I try to have the pistons as much as possible retacted into the cylinders to keep the pistons in oil and not risking damage it on the chromed surface. If it sits long, there might be some corrosion on the edge of the seal, and thet can wear the seal unnecessary.

You need to go by a truck stop and pick up some air system alcohol. With the temperature fluctuations you've had, there was probably a lot of condensation buildup inside the old compressor, and it ended up in the gun. Put the alcohol in the tank, probably have to remove the regulator, and it won't freeze up again. Should probably put some oil in as well to avoid having rust buildup on the inside.

@@andrewwindsor5962 have you noticed many companies especially wally world using that disappearing ink on receipts! You can buy something and put the receipt up and within 90 days or less everything on that receipt has disappeared. I think companies are doing that now so people can't take stuff back. Which I think is being very dishonest to people. Because if you buy a gift for somebody for Christmas and you buy it a couple of months early and you're holding on to the receipt and they get the gift and it's broken and you need to take it back and you look at the receipt and there's nothing on the receipt 🧾 it's blank ! Which means you can't take it back or exchange it because you don't have a receipt 🧾! I think that should be against the law in my opinion because it's cheating people.

Failing that take photo on phone and store them in a file on phone.

@@andrewwindsor5962 the powers that be deleted my other comment saying the ink is disappearing on receipts and it's cheating people from being able to take something back to the store because the ink disappears on the receipts! I also said that it should be illegal for companies to use that type of paper and ink. But KZbin or someone erased my comment.

I take a photo, then email that photo to myself, print it, and file them in a folder!

Happy New Year to you. To maintain your receipt; Simply take a picture and store it in the cloud. Also you can vacuum seal the receipt and it will last for ever. I'm looking forward to another year of great builds as you continue to develop your homestead. 😁

If it's thermo paper (99% of receipts here) they tend to fade whatever I've tried, somewhere in the 2-3 year range. Best bet is making a hardcopy (Xerox, or photo/scan and print on laser printer,, as the toner doesn't fade as ink can) as well as a scan/photo on a drive. As to cloud - never just, but as an additional place. Just read an article about a lady that lost six years worth of pics of her young kids after storing them only in the cloud. To be fair, not typical circumstances, with miscommunications and false statements from her old phone provider's customer support when changing to another, but trying to maintain the cloud storage part with the original provider. I stick one copy/printout with original receipt attached placed in a folder for warranties, and another copy in the tool's box, or taped to the tool (if/as applicable/possible), electronic copies to Evernote, Gmail, and work e-mail.

Take a picture of the receipt with your phone or if you have a scanner, scan it and save whichever you choose to your computer or a thumb drive.
