BIG WARNING to anyone wanting to post their portfolios here. These guys have a very high bar for what qualities as good animations. These are seasoned animators who are a part of the industry, and all the work is graded on a curve. If you are a casual animator or even a very well known animator, you will be graded much harsher than you would anywhere else.

I have a collab idea (i know this isn't the best place to submit this) The Zero Grav collab. Both fighters are stuck in space with no gravity to aid them, neither of them can "fly" but they have separate means of propulsion to keep them from being stuck in the air, other than that there are no restrictions.

I feel very strongly that this is a very poor idea because i witnessed what it did to a community i was part in. What happened with Darkdemon should have been enough of a cautionary tale as to why this should not have been done, it ended up creating a toxic elitist environment with people animating just for an arbitrary rank rather than the sake of self expression. DD ended up removing ranks and i am fearing that yall are just going to speedrun the same fate once youre out of the "cool new toy to play around with" period of introducing a new feature. Whatever happens i hope yall rethink it.

I have actually submitted my portfolio and witnessed this first hand. I voiced my complaints, but it seems like they're content with the fact that this alienates new members and those less skilled. Most of them feel like the dojo has been around long enough that there's no need to worry because there is a large amount of talented regulars. One thing that tends to kill hyunsdojo is it doesn't have a good balance of animation and storytelling. For example, Oxob is a samurai despite being one of the top stick figure animators of all time.
