random headcanon-none of the npcs are aware of the board based overworld. They know there's monsters to fight, jobs systems, and all the other in game mechanics that are part of their life, including the three heroes that are running around, but none of them are aware there's some sort of spinner or movement system. They carry spinners and crystals but can't figure out why these 3 dudes keep buying them out of weird plastic dials and rocks with numbers on them.

honestly, play it solo or without screwing each other over, and you can get through the game quickly most of the time here is spent trying not to get screwed over by the other characters when trying to do things - such as the 40 episode saga of someone trying to get the demoman to the pyramid without it getting stolen

too lazy to look into it, but i believe a speedrun against 3 hard AIs ends around week 45. if you havent watched this video yet, TRG are on week 112, and still have one continent to save from the red boss monsters, one boss in the dungeon, and one more boss in one more dungeon.
