I love the Pitch Bends of this version, I feel that are more expressive compared to the Final ones.

For this version, I made this entirely in Logic, but Logic doesn't have a slide note function like FL does, so I had to do 'em by hand, and it was pretty tedious to get right. :P

Honestly parts like 1:27 feel really empty now, like something should be happening but it abruptly stops for a second. It makes me wonder. . . if someone added more vocals to _deep breaths,_ would I feel the same?

This sounds pretty great! The final version is cool,but your version has a different context,and it hits real WELL! One thing,idk if you will answer,but am I able to chart this masterpiece? I think this needs a cool fanchart of this masterpiece! (Fun fact,if you turn up more volume,you can here the bf chromatic as a little test) You're great man,keep up the cool work!

I prefer this version because it seems like the newer one is a little bit too simple and linear which is the opposite of what Yuri is like.

I'd argue that this version is a lot more simplistic than the final mix.

​@@HighPoweredKeyz I listened to both versions and I realized that the newer one is more complex, I just couldn't here a lot of the instrumental because the drums were so loud. One thought in the final that crossed my mind was that there seemed to be a lot of notes thrown around for no real reason. Sometimes less is more in a song, y'know?

Encore Week was in development when I made this, but not all of the songs were done yet. Yuri's Encore song was originally gonna be done just by DatDavi, but before he started his demo, I wrote Shrinking Violet as my idea of what a Yuri Encore Song *could* sound like, just for fun. I wasn't really expecting it to go anywhere. A little while after I wrote my initial concept, Duster DM'd me, saying that he liked it, and wanted to turn it into a an actual song for the mod. The idea at first, was to have it be a bonus freeplay song, that was meant to be a "What if Yuri's second song was normal?" type deal, because we'd realized at that point, that we only ever got to use Yuri's normal chromatic *once*, and that was for Deep Breaths. After I made *this* demo version, and showed it to the server, Davi liked it as well, and asked to collab to make it Yuri's Encore song, and that's how the final version of Shrinking Violet came to be!

When Shrinking Violet became the Encore song, we realized that the original vocals, as good as they were, weren't really fit for an encore song, so Davi added some faster parts in some sections to spice it up a bit. He also re-did the drums, since my original ones were a lot slower in comparison.
