How can yo respect a guy taking peoples hard earned money and put on a performance like that? He's ripping people off. FYI, that's not George Lynch. George only plays a couple songs for encore with Don. George lynch is good but h'es just as much a rip off for hooking is wagon to this train wreck Don Dokken. Don is getting $20,000 and maybe up to $30,000 a show for putting out this garbage. Zero respect for Don. He's been an asshole his entire carrier and needs to get TF off the stage and stop taking peoples money that he doesn't deserve.

Sadly it doesn’t stop at old. Many of my idols I grew up listening to have gone even further than that and are no longer with us. Ronnie James Dio, Chris Squire, Jon Lord, Chris Oliva, Bernie Marsden, Cozy Powell. Alan White. All moved on the ‘next level’ and May they all rest in peace and I thank them for all the great music they left us with.

Unfortunately Don is fried. That being said, Jon is just ridiculous. I sat across from him when i was 15-16, he was 21 and had lessons with him. It was like taking lessons from any number of the guitar hero’s I had. My guys were Randy, Eddie etc… Jon is a living guitar hero.

I also give Don a lot of respect. But unfortunately live music is about craftsmanship, really craftsmanship. And it is beyond me to understand why he tries to deliver the goods when his singing is just downright awful. I think there is a time when gracefully you just have to quit. I don't see the fans getting much out of this show other than to say that they went and heard some good music. But I'm sure Don does it to feel alive and that's okay with me. People are still coming to see him...

I’m not some hater trying to “accentuate his problems”, I’m a fan who doesn’t want him to continue to push himself past his limits. If he can still put out good music in the studio but not live, so be it- It would be in his best interest to hang up the touring hat. Going out on the road is hard even for people in their prime. He has health problems too, and that must make everything even more difficult. Hell, mick brown retired for exactly that reason. I’m not hating or trying to be disrespectful, snide jokes aside. Incredibly sad to see Don. I hope someone helps him to not either have to tour to pay the bills (downsize life) or don’t tarnish the legacy of the band. Don should not be on stage.
