Ola, man I'd like to thank you so very much for making this video... The other day I was trying out a product that will instantly charge your tablets or phones, I made the mistake of plugging this insata charge into the usb port on my Proscan tablet, I forgot proscan has a separate charging port not a usb.... Anyway something went wrong... I was scared crapless, oh no not my tablet... I'm screwed.... Although I only had the insta charge unit plugged in my tablet a few short seconds, my tablet locked up, all I was getting after I turned it on now was the blue proscan screen then the android robot, next the android screen and nothing else. I did the reboot you describe here... Thank God, it worked.... Fortunately I had the up/down volume buttons... Thanks again sir.

Hi there, I have got as far as the command screen but I cannot scroll through the list. Tablet is a Yarvik Xenta. The combo that gets m ethis far is power and "ffm" button. I have tried the reset button to scroll but this just reboots. The power button selects and the ffm button does jack! Any help is greatly appreciated!

You have to start by turning the tablet off. Then hold down the rest button... while that is down press and hold the power button as well. At this point both buttons should be press and held down. Hold both down for 10- 15 seconds until you see the robot on its back. That should help you get the ball rolling... then follow the rest of the video to completion. Please post if thst help. Hi, I have a Time2 tablet. When I press and hold the reset and power nothing happens. If I release the reset the tablet boots normally. I have tried this a few times holding both buttons for several minutes.

Hi, triyed out your solution but can't get it to work. Shame cause that was the best answer I found and it was very promising. I hold down both the reset and power button for about a minute but no avail. when I release them, the tablet starts and stay stuck on the android logo. Seems that as long as the reset button is in use, the system won't start and if I release it, it goes back to the stuck logo. This is an MPMAN MPQC784 tablet and I would apreciate any hole to digg in

When you see the Android logo on its back, do you see a list of options (commands) typed in blue? If not, after you see the Android logo lating on its back... press the power button once and release it. It should pop up the menu then. From there follow the video to proceed. When booting my tablet it will show the blue ProScan screen, then the green Android robot, but then gets stuck on some text that says "Android" with a shimmer across it. I can't get into any menus and there are no buttons on the outside with the exception of the power/screen lock and the reset hole so a factory reset isn't an option. If there is a key combo with the two buttons, I can't figure it out.

I have a PLT7777G-Q from Proscan. I managed to format it using ADB, as this method wouldn't work. Once I did that, it still doesn't turn on. It get's to the android logo with the "shiny text" and doesn't load. I've let it sit for at least 30 minutes charging but still nothing. Now, however, it is no longer getting recognized on either of my computers by ADB (Both Mac on 10.9 and PC on Windows 7)

I decided to try this video to help me with my tablet, which does not have a volume button. When I power on, you quickly see a android guy (right side up) for just a sec, then the Supersonic Logo, then...it just hangs at the word "Android" where it has a whitish background swiping through the word as if it's loading. But, it will stay like that for hours. I've left it like that overnight and was still stuck in the morning. Any thoughts? It's a Supersonic SC-91JB 9" Tablet.

If you have the buttons... while your device is off, hold down the 'down volume button and then press and hold the power button with it as well for about 5 to 10 seconds. After the robot us on uts back... use the 'down volume button to navigate to the 'factory reset wipe' option. The press the power button to select it. Do the same thing when tbe next menu screen pops up... hight and select yes to confirm it. This should take care of that. Please reply stating if this helps you or not. Thank you.

Yeah tapping the reset button should do it for you. Not sutr what other options you have. The power button is the one is used for selecting it.

When you get to the screen with the Android on it's back... Don't just press the reset button by it self... You have too press and hold the reset button with the power button together for 5 -10 seconds to get to the next screen just as describe in the video. I hope that helps you out.

It sounds like your batter is not getting a full charge. Please try using a different charger and let it sit on it for 10- 15 minutes; then try powering it on. It does not power on after using a different charger, I would then contact the company or manufacturer of the tablet on that issue.

I have. I charge it, and try turning it on then I disconnect the charger from the tablet, then reconnect it. I comes on for about 2 to 3 seconds and then go off.

To be honest, I have not tried it on a Polaroid tablet; but it should not make a difference. Which part are you having an issue on? Were you able to have the Android logo on your screen? If not; first step is powering down the tablet. Then do the following while it is powered off... Remember to insert the safety pin in first. Feel for the small button inside the hole, once you feel for it, press and hold it down with the safety pin. While that is being held down, press and hold the power button down as well. So at the point both buttons should be held down. Hold both buttons down for about 10- 15 seconds even while the tablet is powering back up. You should see the logo after that. When the Android logo appears; remove and then re-insert the safety pin just as you did before with the power button. Holding both down for 10- 15 seconds again (to get to the blue letters screen). Hope this helps and please post your findings as this would help other viewers. Thanks and don't forget to click like and subscribe.

Oh yeah.. This video covers how to resolve you issue. Just follow it and take your time... It can take a few tries to get it but watch it carefully and I am sure it will help you.

Please make sure that your tablet has enough battery power before starting this process. Also make sure the tablet is powered off before you start the process. Another key thing is to make sure you are sticking the paper clip in the correct hole. It is usually the smallest how in which only a paper clip or would fit in. Please let me know if that helps. Try powering off the tablet. Now while it is off... press and hold the reset button; while that is held down... press and hold the power button as well. Hold down both buttons for about 10- 15 seconds (even during the Proscan splash screen). If it was down as descibed, you should see the robot laying on its back. Ok... if you got to the point whete the android logo is on ots back... fill and click for the reset butyon again and you you have found it... press and hold the power button and then quick the rest button with the paper clip. At this point both the power and reset button should be held down together. See if that helps and olease post your finds.

Since you have the volume buttons... your process will be much easier. All you need to do is hold down the up volume and power button down together at the same time. This should take you to the screen with the blue letters. After you get to that screen you tap the down volume button repeatedly to navigate to the factory reset option. Then tap the power button to select it. Do the same so select yes on the next screen... tap the power button again to confirm when it states all data will be wiped and thats it. Please post if that helps?

This process may take a few attempts before being successful. Make sure that the device is powered off first and that it has a decent battery charge. Also remember to use a paper clip and to stick it in the smallest hole just as describe in the video. Press and hold that small button in the hole while pressing the power button for about 10- 15 seconds. Then proceed with the following steps just as described in my video. Please post or reply stating if this helps at all. It can require some patience as several attempts may be required. Thank you.

Ok so it sounds like you have the physical volume buttons then. In this case; you would not need the paper clip or safety pin. After you get to the screen with the Android on his back; just repeat those steps with the power and volume button again to progress. Then when you get to the screen with the blue letters, use the down volume button to navigate to the proper setting just as the video describe. Thank you and please post your findings.

at you will need to do first after getting the 'no command' message is... Press the Power button once. A menu will appear. After the menu appears... click the reset button until 'factory reset wipe' is hightlighted. Next press the power button to select it. Finally, do the same thing when it takes you to the next screen and select 'yes' to wipe your device. That should take care of your issue. Please reply stating if that resolves your issue as it can be beneficial to many on here. Thank you

I have tried and tried and still I can not get the menu screen to appear after the android guy on his back. Please any further help. Bought for nephew for christmas and he forgets the lock pass he set on it.

Ok... make sure after you stick the safety pin in for the second time, feel for the small button like you did before, and hold it down. Now while that is being held down, press and hold the power button as well. At this time you should have both buttons held or pressed at the same time. Try holding it down for about ten seconds and if it does not work, repeat those steps. You will be successful on one of those attempts if you follow those instructions carefully. After the tablets battery drains... let it sit on the charger for about an hour (without attempting to power it on... after that hour is up... try following the steps in my video. Please reply stating if this helps you with your issue. Thank you

Yes sending it back sounds like a great idea... you don't want to do a fix now and then months later it happens again. Sound like it may need to be looked at or even replaced.

Ok, to everyone that is having issue getting to the second screen with the blue letters (boot recovery screen) please read carefully just as explained in the video. Because some of you after seeing the Android Logo on it's back... are then pressing the power button first then the reset with out being sure you found the reset button yet. So please do as it I instructed in the video by feeling for the reset button first by clicking it a couple times with the paper clip (just to ensure that you have and can easily press it)... once you know for sure that you can easily press the reset button in the tiny hole... hold the paper clip in the hole without pressing the reset button (but in a position where you can quickly and easily press it)... now press and hold the power button first ... then quickly press and hold the reset button since you have the paper clip in position... at this time both button should be pressed and held just as demonstrated in my video. Do you start the process with the tablet being off first? Meaning while tablet is powered off... press and hold the reset button... while that is held down... press and hold the power button with it as well. At this point both buttons should be held down together. Keep both down for 10 to 15 seconds past boot screen (until robot is lating on its back). Try that and pleade post if thar helps.

From what I found, it works the same way as describe in my video. Make sure that you click the button in the small hole a couple of times to ensure you found it, then press and hold it. While hold that down, press and hold the main power button together with the small button for about 15 seconds. If it does not work then give it a few more tries in that same order. If you were able to get to the point where the Android is logo is on his back, then you got the steps right and just follow those same steps again. Please let me know if this help. Thank you

i really appreciate the video you have.. hope you can help me with my MODOEX tablet.. it keeps downloading every time it access the wifi or any internet connection.programs are installed unknowingly and adding up the work of the tablet and hung up after few minutes..then it cycles again reboot and download unwanted programs and hung up.. and so on..

After they Android guy is on it's back; make sure you can feel for the reset button again with the paper clip... Once you know it can be pressed easily... Press and hold the power and reset button together (same time) to get to the recovery blue menu screen.

yes that is the microphone hole ! if you insert a pin in you will destroy your mic !! you won't be able to record sounds on your tablet !!!

Does anybody know about an iRulu tablet. It's stuck trying to install a system update so it's already in recovery mode but I can't do anything other than turn it off and on. I tried the power button with volume buttons and nothing works. I just bought it as a gift for someone and as I was setting it up a message prompted me a system update was available and it reaches about 25% the way through and shuts off and back on and keeps repeating the same thing over and over.
