This trailer is nice to watch. Especially the combination of live-action water effects and CGI of the Dolby Digital logo.

with one drop, a giant splash is created! After that we fly through a field of rain or go underwater through underwater with a swarm of bubbles! NICE!

Fun Fact: This logo is mostly live action. CGI was only used in 10% of the logo. And as for the rain drops? It's all live action as they used an experimental water machine to capture the rain drops.

This is exactly what Dolby trailer Logo Archive is after. There's a bunch of liquid water in the logo video, which is also the picture that he described. A long time ago, it was seen on a number of films, but in 1998, the logo was pulled out from theatres under an injunction of the lawyers serving for Ron Howard at the time, because it looked a little bit like his film logo, Imagine Entertainment. His copyright fight was Imagine-ary, and the animation part for the trailer was also Imagine-ary. There wasn't something un-Imagine-ary, unless they provided the evidence that this animation seriously violated copyright law and it's statutes, so many will see how this logo is a highly sought after digital technology identification, when it was pulled out of theatres and made rare in the first place. Logo Archive is going to freak in a good way. I'll bet he was right that it was hard to see the logo online until now in 1996, because people used to use the archaic phone line technology for the internet, and the Internet was seemingly slow. High speed internet used to cost a lot of money in those days and were known for using a different line. It was an exceptionally different technological line that made internet run at hypersonic speed. The phone line, combined with the CPU usage, demanded more compatibility in order for the internet to work. Nowadays, we only worry about our slow computers if it's old, or burning hot. It has to do with the Dolby logo because high speed internet was required to play high quality videos, and phone lines made videos buffer worse than one minute chunk systems. After wi-fi became popular, it was easier to combine both standard phone and high speed into one massive technological wonder, which enabled us to see rare Dolby trailers in peace. In my opinion, I don't see the resemblance to the one logo by Ron Howard, when a bunch of waves like the famous painting is enough to differentiate Dolby from the usual Ron Howard one. If I was in the logo, I could enjoy a nice splash, so I can gaze in the awe of the logo while I surf.

Apparently this trailer is copyrighted... *not by Dolby though.* It's copyrighted by whoever GMS is, and there's _two_ copyright entries (Boom Shankar and Spliffpolitics) only because it sampled this

It was it's own music piece, composed by Skywalker Sound. Though, in the description's Content ID B.S. thing, it says "Reformasi" from a Indonesian singer Named Diana, that song came out a ton years after Dolby gave us Rain. (The Reformasi thing, is real, look it up, I think KZbin used the Video CD release of the song...)
