I guess you'd have to be Italian, which I am, to understand what you mean by God Given Talent and Beauty. This collection is an homage to everything that makes Italy fabulous. Not everyone can be as wonderful as the Italians. It's called "sprezzatura" ...a certain nonchalance, so as to conceal all art and make whatever one does or says appear to be without effort and almost without any thought about it. Even though D&G knew exactly what they were doing and worked very hard to bring this collection to us.

Loved it! I wanna make some points: - The stamps, colors, makeup (loved the glossy lips) and jewelry were magnificent! - Wanna really point out the diversity of looks! White women, tons of asians, and a beautiful variety of dark-skinned models (with skin tones ranging from light-black to dark-black). That’s how it’s supposed to be! - The fact that models didn’t had to wear high heels. They look more comfortable and natural when walking. - Their bodies ⁉️❤️ Loved seeing women more on the “slender” side (which still does not represent the average women but it’s still something!) and not extremely thin. I noticed the models’ cute cheeks, the bast majority of them didn’t had collarbones or ribs showing AND I saw some thighs touching each-other 👀❤️ (examples: 3:40 7:17 8:19) - Models were allowed to smile a little bit and/or incarnate the “character” that wears the outfit, and not being forced to walk like robots with no personality. I am a seamstress and get inspired by these designs..designers always over the top ..I might take a scarf in this case and incorporate it with a plain beautiful linen fabric and make a beautiful dress or blouse , look at the back design of the dresses .. I wear to farmers market or to lunch with friends and always get compliments with my twist on high end fashion .. love beautiful scarfs this collection has so inspired me .. beautiful room and music

Their fabrics are always magnificient, but I felt there were lots of missed opportunities in about half of this line. I wanted to restyle many pieces with simple fixes to showcase the fabrics and feminine shape better. The models were excellent. They showed alot of character and choose a variety of subtle walking and posing styles slightly different than standard fare. Some of them seemed more like actresses playing the part. That's the way fashion shows would look and I suspect, sell better. Engaging models make clothes look like they are for real people. Some of the models used eye expressions that "tell a story" instantly. Clever

Magnificent... No "Physical" noise of celebrity.. The music, the clothes, the interior.. allows one to be transported and delighted .. no scanning camera's to people.. ( no phones in the way ) a return back to being ALL ABOUT THE CLOTHES ... theatre dress dream :-)

Certainly an overload of rich, dramatic patterns and colors that bedazzle and make for a captivating presentation, and will beautifully fill the pages of the prestige fashion magazines fast becoming irrelevant and fighting for their lives, but does anybody anywhere actually dress like this anymore? The world is shifting and changing in so many ways and with that, fashion such as this seems more and more to mean less and less in the grand scale of things, being eclipsed by things of real substance and importance. Appearing to be mindlessly lavish and extravagant seems to have become passe and vulgar and out of touch. That said, D&C are gifted, skilled and widely revered designers who rarely disappoint. The question now is: to what end?
