Jackets are impeccable. Tops are beautiful. Appointments (accessories) are very nice. Chessboard / Checkerboard skirts are unflattering and make the very thin models look weighted from the hips down. Having said that, there are MANY gorgeous outfits showcased in this campaign. Bravo!

Definitely great elements, an artful collection where there's opportunity to mix and match quite easily. Wasn't too keen on the hair except for when it was worn with the hats and that last look belongs and needs to stay in 2008...but much more Virginie's personality coming through here. I think the whole KS as an expectator emulates if Gabrielle Chanel was watching Virginie's collection so her being there may be a nod to when she started her brand and a seal of approval?

Wow! This collection was breathtaking!! I have loved Chanel since I was a child and this so captured the spirit of Chanel while being modern, fresh, sophisticated and absolutely gorgeous in every way. The artisans (see article on them in May Vanity Fair) outdid themselves. Virginie, you are more than a successor to Karl, you have created your own aesthetic. Congratulations.
