A woodland walk up a hillside ravine, near the seaside town of Towyn in North Wales, to have a look at these quite impressive waterfalls.

Great little walk up to the falls Frank - I've never been up there. The 'caves' you passed were slate mines apparently - I looked on the 1900 OS map and also the north Wales list of mine sites, and both show there being mine levels up that gorge. I think the information board you showed on the walk showed 'old levels' also. Cheers, Dave

What a marvelous, scenic riverside walk with plenty of waterfalls in addition to the main one and a good amount of water in both sight and SOUND . Would love to visit there as it looks far more impressive than Tal y Llyn. I'm sure you'll return there when the paths are repaired as it's that sort of place. Thoroughly enjoyed this. ps. Do you mean Towyn or Tywyn as both are in North Wales? Towyn is the seaside one between Rhyl and Abergele . This is, I think, the other one.( Just in case viewers go to t'wrong one .)

Thanks for your comment, 'Tywyn', formerly spelled Towyn, is a seaside resort on the Cardigan Bay in southern Gwynedd.
