Thanks for another awesome video. I don’t dare cut the zip until I’m ready to sew up the top. A bit floppy but I can safely try on without worrying that I will pull out the zipper. I can picture myself doing just that.

One part that I didn't catch is how the skirt pieces go together, are you able to explain that bit? Did you sew both seams closed then the gather it to match the size of the bodice or is there a measure you gather to?

The dress has a slit at the front. You sew the two skirt pieces together than gather to the bottom of the dress matching the seams at the back and the finished edges of the skirt slit to the center front.

I keep having gaping at the very top of the bust, am I not sewing the centre piece to the sides tight enough? I measured it out in mm as inches don't make sense to me, I did 5mm.

The pattern is designed specifically for the Fashion Royalty doll. The seam allowance is 1/4" throughout construction.
