the level of care the seller does before they list the items is very very commendable. i wish all resellers care enough about their items the way this company does. not everyone can be meticulous and can be an expert but it would be great if the items (whatever they may be) you buy online from a reseller has been taken care of to the best of their ability and not just sold for a cash grab.

I honestly think this is one of the coolest videos you've put out! Seeing everything they have is amazing but seeing the behind the scenes of a large reseller is very cool. This also helps with transparency of resellers because while some of them are awful, there are absolutely great resellers out there!

This is so incredible, the care they take in making sure everything is packaged safely with the shrink wrapping and the fact they take their own photos. Im trying to buy only from other doll collectors or collectible enthusiasts because I just hate the greed surrounding collectibles right now. Love seeing a business by collectors for collectors! Very cool! However looking at their website its weird that they list the expensive ebay prices as MSRP even for products still on store shelves. For example the newest ken wedding tuxedo at walmart is 10.99 yet we r toys says its over 30 dollars? Not somewhere I will be shopping from regularly as a collector who needs to be careful with my budget.

If it’s a brand new product they’re not target or Walmart and provide regular discounts so I don’t really have any qualms with that but it’s obviously up to you and understandable as a consumer to go with the cheaper option- this was a cool opportunity for me and I personally have noticed and gotten good deals from them so I was excited to share. I noticed and pointed out in the discussion section that there’s a bit of an inconsistency but I noticed a lot of great deals before considering the coupons.

I've seen their booth at designercon and it's always suuuper expensive. plus some of their ebay listings do the thing I HATE where it's a $4 item and the shipping is $50+.

@@xCanadensis Spent some more time looking at their website, only looked at a couple things before the first comment. Yeah I think its just the term MSRP that feels off to me. MSRP literally means manufacturer's suggested retail price. The original Barbie from 1959 had an MSRP of $3. Obviously she is worth more than $3 now even just considering the inflation of the US dollar, but it doesn't change the original MSRP. And with how common it is for scalpers to say something is worth much more than it is, at first glance it just felt like a big red flag to me. Going through a bit deeper it does look like they have fair prices for the older products they sell, especially considering their policies. I think this is at least a better option than ebay when looking for older dolls.

I agree with you OP. It is dishonest to list a price as MSRP, when that isn’t the MSRP. It takes advantage of those that don’t know the actual MSRP. There is also no disclaimer about this business practice in this review video about the business. However, this is a cool business and neat video, and I’m glad xcanadensis got this opportunity! Im sure that people that have the extra financial resources will enjoy buying from this company!

That is their system which seems to made for brand new products. Definitely something to alert them to because I didn’t think about it. I think “MSRP” is being pulled automatically and is based on the higher sales prices online. I made it incredibly clear that I found both low and high prices and everything was based on my perception and disclaimer that people should check the prices 🫡 Also this isn’t a review and was not framed that way. It was framed as a cool look behind the scenes of a big toy seller. The ending bit was included to address any questions or concerns I anticipated

Thanks for this video! I just discovered We-r-Toys recently. I ordered a doll and it turned out that they didn't have her. The woman whom I spoke with was very kind and got me a refund promptly. I really want to shop with them again, but because I'm in Canada, it is expensive to ship things (and I ended up getting the originally desired doll an eBay, and she was expensive). In any case, We-r-Toys seems like a great option!

This is soo cool to see their business up close like this. I’m pretty sure I bought a lot of my new barbies from we are toys when I started buying in box barbies years ago. That’s so cool they actually take all their own photos and shrink wrap and they inspect so well, they let us know if it’s sealed with original tape. I love that! Can’t say how many times I thought I bought brand new item and I get it and someone taped it back in the box… and sold it for full price… We are Toys are a great business! ❤️🩷 would love to see more! 😄
